Lying under a counter they say
One dollar is the cost to play
Two to make your winnings more
The next ticket is it for sure
Oops, being lucky is not today

there was a bookie named Jennings
who had to pay the mob his winnings
one day it was said
he kept them instead
and was later found floating in the Hudson

A Couplet

Taxing Unrealized Gains

Biden’s henchmen must think that we have no brains,
You must cash in your winnings to spend your gains.

Just
like foot
ball I am
rough and tough and strong
I've taken alot of winnings.
I'm continously moving toward the goal line.
and when there are fumbles along the way,I just start again to press further, going
strong.

To that of new beginnings To many the ultimate of winnings, I wish to all a mega blast May it be ongoing and forever last, Whether yours, those around or mine I wish a life like the sun does so brightly shine

Whistling whispering warlocked warrior wishing when
wanting whatever won winnings whenever.
While wondering wandering wordsmithing winsome
witch worries woefully which wayward wintry willfully
willing warlock will winsomely win wonder with what wards.

I do not know?
Life is a game of chance
sometimes forbidden
far from reach.
Ignited...
but destined for doom.
~~~
Sometimes it dares you
to step up and take
all the winnings.
~~~
Sometimes the
attraction fades quickly
but sometimes...
fleeting moments can impact
changing an entire life.

I loved you.
If I ever wanted to be so badly broken, I'd go to you.
You were the queen of broken hearts.
You collected so many and shoved them into your treasure chest.
Sometimes, you'd open it to admire your winnings that were mistakenly given to you.
You destroy hearts to make make up for the one that you don't have.

Tests arrest students' rest:
Requesting the best their stomachs digest;
To see the ones that would be oppressed,
And the ones that would repossessed...
Providing solutions to teacher's quests,
From the simple twists to them he ingested--
That with pen, he will have marks attest:
Either make cane's justice get them swiftly arrested
Or make praise reinforces their progress assessed.

I believe there are no happy endings
Just the honeymoon of happy beginnings
Ultimately we end up losing
While they collect our hard fought winnings
Eventually everything ends and everything dies
Sadness then spreads with following cries
Is true love real when it’s destined die
When one half grows apart spouting devious lies
I believe there are no happy endings
Just the honeymoon of happy beginnings

I do not know?
Watch how you craft
A profound draft
See the end game
Dare brave the same
Seek peace of mind
Sense how you find
Learn how to know
Just what to show
Time moves winnings
Cheer up and sing
Good fortune peaks
Just as you speak
Grace spreads a balm
Wonder speaks calm
See with mind's eye
Etch then pure highs
Start to win more
Feel joy galore

When the Archbishop died the Canon thought he’d make a buck
Keep it quiet, bet on it and put it down to luck
Told the Dean to place a bet that Archie’s gonna croak
Stick a fortune on it so that soon you won’t be broke
Then the story came out and the Canon scooped his winnings
No suspicions: the Archbishop had a decent innings
But the Dean was jaded and he moaned life isn’t fair
I made my bet a treble…
with the Queen and London Mayor

I was told
My tears were crock tears.
Injured wounds
Bled and cried inside
Still I heard:
You and I are free
Held by three:
You, me, spirit
Who is it?
Gender fabulous
Gender blind
Hurting womankind?
Cast a smile
No crowd a frowning
Clear your mind
Hold firm to winnings
Take fresh breaths
Take no hostages
That last breath
Will be of courage
Murderers
Called out by The Source
Serves one Force-
Redeeming our lives.

No team minds playing extra innings
if the final results of the games are winnings.
Scoring runs is something both teams tried.
However, after nine innings, the game is tied.
They have to keep playing until there is a score.
If not, the two sides must play a little more.
As sure as all baseball players live,
somebody scores a run. Something’s got to give.
How happy the winners are after the game.
The losers have to go home with shame.

Eventually the heartache will
subside
And those tears will no longer
fill your eyes
That feeling of the end will
become the beginning
Later down the road you will
be able to collect your
winnings
When your house becomes an
empty nest
That hole in your stomach that
air in your throat
The pain in your chest
Eventually it will go away
Maybe not tomorrow maybe
not today
But the love in your heart will
last always
....I miss
you so much
