to walk the talk
we first talk
and then walk

life pursuits a quest
but if we be at rest
each breath a crest

will bends
seeking ends
soul ascends

EGO

Funny is the absurd man
Whose big ego fits the small
In the flimsy, awkward plan
To walk the talk with the tall

Choosing emptiness
As way of living
That divine love fills
Hollow voids within
We drop all seeking

Desireless self
Vibrant with bliss
Agendaless
Exuberant

We melt in
Joy current
In our heart

Lower
Urges

Fade

Each monk who saw, asked us to thaw,
feral instinct that’s self-serving,
observing love’s the only law,
of which each soul is deserving.

Such is the path that scriptures teach,
affirming God is within reach,
for which our heart needs to transform,
imbibing bliss magnetism warm.

No Hope

The weakened man is he who hides
Can’t come to terms with wrong and right
He cannot stand and make his way
Nor show his face on morning’s light

He fears the walk, the talk, the hours
He prays that no one sees him still
For the weakened man is most I say
The ones who go on despite no will

“Life by inhalation
Death in exhalation
The now, celebration”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We read the scriptures
A hypothesis
How may we explore
Depth of consciousness
Save through sentience
For alignment
Of thought, word, deed
With pulse of love
We need to change
Narrowness
Attachments
Are blockages
Walk the Talk
Walk and talk tell true and dream
Walk is true yes,talk is dream
A talk of moon came a walk on moon
Walk and talk tell true and dream
Talk and walk the two making life
Walking together,like husband and wife
Walk and talk tell preach and breach
People preaching but not in reach
A talk not walk,different in line
Walk the talk,make people to shine!
Walk the Talk
And therefore you met him in the street
All drenched up, the untimely rain
Staggered before you and bowed to know
How far have you walked the lane
Miles after miles, for trillions of years
Have you walked the lanes of life
No surrogate mother waited for him
No crimson rose offered to be his wife
Forever they love, forever they walk
Even under the starlit sky they talk
Memorising scriptures was all in vain,
since symbolic words but addressed our mind,
whereas our soul wished to walk the terrain,
to vanquish demons of darkness that bind,
enabled on becoming love aligned.
Breath by breath thus, we chose to walk the talk,
mindfully sidestepping desires that stalk
and in no time at all, felt a bliss squall,
imprinting truth with indelible chalk,
revealing light of true Self standing tall.
Champion of Our Time
Leader among leaders
Beaten, never die
Stressed, not strained a bit
Pulled apart, never deformed
But better than former
Been through fire,
never burned
Walked through storms,
last man standing
Super eagle among the eagles
Catering for the falcons
Having a heart of unconditional love
King of one queen
Great example to his offspring
True friend to his friends
Man of his words
Always walk the talk
A true ambassador in a foreign land
True champion of our time
I Am
I am...
a very pugnacious person,
whose to smart for my own good.
Who thinks I can make a change,
by changing myself.
I am...
a nice mean person.
The type to walk the talk;
so if you come around my way,
you can't be just about talk.
Any body can talk; I can talk, too.
But when them hands come in;
tell me who's going to be talking then?
I am...
a contradiction to the world
but not the only one.
There's many,
But most of all...I'm me!
We cannot ascend till negating fear, as also desires, we live internally, refining our responses, mindfully gentling our actions, recognising we must walk the talk, moment after moment, day after day. Yogic practice, prayers and chants help not, unless we emote love breath by breath, deeming all souls one, none apart, enlivening those we meet, with joyous tenderness, feeling in their hearts, God’s pure spirit, that pervades our form too.
Please note right now
Times are hard
We must cut costs
We must work hard
To do well
Work smart and more
No more tea breaks
Work more smart
Take a pay cut
We must not waste
Cash is king
Time to work late
Treat our clients well
Smile and wave
Set our goal right
Do a good job
Multi-task
One man for three
And if we must
Bonus cut
Part of the plan
We walk the talk
Keep at it
Thank you so much
Premium Member Reflect On This
be it prayer or meditation if it merely be a part time activity soon to be forgotten after performed yields no value since we’re in ego’s captivity we have some freedom in thought, word and deed as of our present consciousness coordinate a mindful eye steers our fickle heart into tranquil stillness sedate very few of us walk the talk how often do we talk to our soul soft whispers of conscience are ignored yet deludedly we feel prayer will make us whole
