No Hope

The weakened man is he who hides
Can’t come to terms with wrong and right
He cannot stand and make his way
Nor show his face on morning’s light

He fears the walk, the talk, the hours
He prays that no one sees him still
For the weakened man is most I say
The ones who go on despite no will
