Government Thinking

The homeless shout out senseless vowels
Whilst seniors suffer from loose bowels
Public toilets are closed
Just because its supposed
Someone might infect absent towels?

Just a Line

A rhymes with hey
and B rhymes with C
As words come together
in vowels joining me

So all can remember
that poems are fine
When joined to each other
in words that are line

Premium Member He Knew the Vowels

A five-year-old lad named Jeremiah
Told me he went to school in Ohio
Claimed he knew all the vowels
But then he howled a big howl
Said 'A,' 'E' -- 'Waaaaah' -- So I said "Try I-O"

Becoming Poet

Energizing all words
   agglutinating vowels and consonants
soaking up the sounds and noises
I erected the pristine foundations of poetry
    finally, I created myself
    poet... !

Lies

The rolling of the tongue when the lips
depart each other. The sounds of
the consonants and vowels,
The passion to do so
with e'vry heartbeat.
Knowing that the
truth is told
by the
eyes.

'Pumping Irony'

Did you go
to the gym
the Poet asked
Or write
weakened
— words untasked

Vowels and
consonants
stay unflexed
When verbs
atrophic
— their letters vexed

AN AGING PAGE

on a frozen floor

   silent consonants scatter

      smelling of black roses’ filth,

         chair without audience

            fleeing from abused vowels…

now alone, an aging page

Verbal Pump

Did you go
to the gym
the Poet asked

Or just write
weakened
the verse untasked

The vowels and
consonants
stay unflexed

With words
atrophic
— their muscles vexed

Virtuous Vowels

An ally applies acces
to an adversary,
Excitement enlightens elegance
of expression,
Introduction of ignorance to an
intellectual,
Obligations obliterate opportunity
over optimism,
Unity underestimated and untowardly

Footnotes of Pain

A book with no cover,
  a man with no name

Vowels dormant and muted,
  as consonants reign

A plot with no purpose,
  an ending refrained

Its message in conflict
   —with footnotes of pain

Letter to letter once estranged,
they mate in open air

Copulants of a thought unloved,
 vowels conceived in pairs

An alphabetic orgy,
the first word falls in place

Darkness changing into light
—all silence to replace

President Clinton's Headache

Monica and Bill had owls in their eyes
Yet Bill fell from his perch onto what lies
Both stained the White House bowels
Hooting exchanges of vowels
It had been worse had he gone past her thighs

Alliteration

Alliteration afreshes tracheae
As you compose the consonant comparisons
Assures tongue twist the trust of vowels
Amend the departed stress slogans of stance
As you compare as you compose
Alliteration again agitate stanzas
Am sure as you swear you see what you sown.

Long Angelus Is Silent

A is an E without the O'w
someday F'ing comes
others upon G loomy days

  Everything taken but
the violence of the purple
violent eyes of her
own SCREAMS high heart
and below oh supreme vowels
of cerebellum Hamlets

long angelus is silent...

Vacation To Schizophrenia

A whole house aired with dust
and dark twilight at every hour,
there was a mountain— tall as rust
that made me feel a coward.

There were cans and cans on
tiled floor? More dust and dirt
on towels. As a child, I clutched my teddy
bear, while inside I lost
some vowels.
