I could never be thought of as bon vivant guy,
I prefer plain “vittles” that will stick to a rib.
Most fancy dishes I allow to pass my plate by,
and I never eat things that require a bib.

It all goes in my dish.
All I want is to be pet,
And to play with a mouse or two.

Just look into my big bright eyes.
My love I’ll freely give to you,

We're the class of sweet '16! We're not tender vittles... we're Skittles! We're shooting Starbursts, reaching for the Milky Way. We aren't always Nerds-- we can be Airheads, too! :) We're on top of the world, even if we get the occasional Snickers! We may have to Crunch down on time once in a while, but you don't have to be the Three Musketeers to have Mounds of fun and Almond Joy! We do get the Snickers sometimes, huh?

kicking it down
an old dusty road
mind chasing dogs
a type of relay race
legs release, next guy
kicks the bone
no wonder of what
sup was spooned
nor if a homeless man
kicked the can
did the dent do him in
were the vittles spoilt
man’s worst abuse
human, beast or
aluminum can
a drunk picks it up
toothless, smiles
crushing it
against his skull
the derelicts say
“aw, you ruined it”

Chocolate chomping
does not curtail the hollow hollering,
"Real food! Real food!"
A clock controls the
dashing diner of
lunch munch, breakfast break,
or dinner for a spinner
out of this humongous hunger.
A platinum plate if you please
piled provocatively
with a sprawling spread
of vital vittles ASAP.
Ring the bell
grant grace sublime
its time to eat
enough of this rhyme!!
