Vale
Se vale a pena
se vale a pena ter,
vale a pena esperar,
se vale a pena alcançar,
vale a pena lutar
se vale a pena
fazer uma coisa,
vale a pena
fazer bem
mais e mais.

At four o'clock,
Your world wakes:
My dainty array
Of a rainbow vale.
With fascination,
Every four o'clock I
Watch your opening eyes
Obey - without a fight -
The alarm clock in your mind.
Vale a pena
A vida vale a pena!
Se vale a pena viver,
vale a pena se esforçar,
se vale a pena querer,
vale a pena lutar
se vale a pena
fazer uma coisa,
vale a pena
fazer bem
mais e mais.

Vale a Pena
A quinta-feira
é um dia para
fazer
valer a pena
acelere os passos,
faça com pouco,
mais e mais.
Acelere seus
passos, vá
além do
conhecido,
acelere seus
passos, com
uma mente
decidida
a fazer
com pouco
ou muito,
mais e mais.
We are saddened again by death
Where Muslim Terrorists have killed
Innocent people in Barcelona run down
This still goes on and on without stop
We need to close down this sadness
For the pain will remain forever for innocence
And ordinary people paying a butcher's bill.

Curves valleys mounds and folds
A sweeping landscape we choose to travel
And enjoy to linger for a time
Whenever we can
To us and our companion
To the High peak of satisfaction
And release mounting tension
In the pleasant valley below
A much-needed vacation
Then it's back to work
Again.
Some people stand out in your thoughts
Of deeds done and strength brought
Mick Standing we remember as a friend
And a detective to uphold the right and the law to defend
He stood by members as a committee man
In the Association by popular demand
But now he has passed on in our memories
Another face gone no more to see.

In the hush of dawn, brimming with violets,
I wandered to the wild side,
Where whisper of wind told tales,
Of secret buried deep within the heart,
Of a valley untouched, untamed,
To essense pure, a silent testimony,
To natures undying vow.
As dusk descended, shadows played,
With colors fading, yet hope remained,
For in this sacred, silent space,
The soul finds, solace and love sustains.

I read your note today.
You begged me to stay.
I needed to get away.
You asked for a reply.
I could only sigh.
I knew I would lie.
Tears blurred as I wrote.
My hand scribbled a note.
I didn’t want to gloat.
I knew I was right.
I wanted you out of my sight.
Because of all of your slights.
My response is in the mail.
Further pleas are to no avail.
I head out the door to ski in Vale.
Listen to poem:
A Summer Vale
Hints hailed she raised her ocher veils,
Expose those enlightened from shade,
Spun tales of yesterdays reveals,
Golden treasures anoint the blessed,
The abandon of buttered skins,
Urbane exodus blooms on roads,
As summer vale blows saffron breaths.

FAREWELL, SUMMER
~~nette onclaud
Barren white
The snowy vale
'Neath the moon tonight
A quiet pale
Flecked with shimmering ice
Dancing in beams of silver light
The cold winds blew
Snow gathered 'round a lonely yew
I watched the winter sun onward rise
A distant grove aglitter dazed my eyes
As the golden morning gave chase to cloud
That lay atop boulder and bush
A white ghostly shroud—
I listened to the snow crush
'Neath each step
As I crept
Thro' snowy silence
Ring aloud

She walks along an avenue
some call the Vale of Tears.
Her agonies and sorrows brew
in eyes that vail her tears.
She whiles alone, her gaze unmet,
behind a veil of tears.
But can she flee from sadness, yet
with no avail of tears?
In time, the Rue of No Regrets
will countervail her tears.
Vale: valley
Vail: let sink
Veil: something that conceals
Avail of: use to one’s advantage
Countervail: offset, counteract

Rest In Peace Australian heroes.
Vale to the Firefighters
Do you think there is a special place in heaven
For people who pass as heroes
Their names are written with pride
And should not be forgotten
Let their families find their peace
Knowing that they will be looked after
From a grateful nation
Holding them close to their hearts.

"I could a tale unfold
Whose lightest word would harrow up thy soul"
When these words Shakespeare wrote
Little did he think how hard they smote
The hearts of men drowning in toil
Amid gross carnage innocence to despoil
The drumbeat of bombs to bring Mosul down
The speeding bullet of a car in Westminster's town
Heartache and agony in this world abound
With life's thorns so many are crowned
It is no wonder that so many weep depressed
And pray to their God for eternal rest
