Much better to be the arrester than the arrestee
Prison comes to mind, arresters never need to plead
Free to go home for dinner
You see they're not the sinner
That's the assumption, a real upstanding breed
Here I sit, lost in my thoughts about life
Bout how I managed to avoid much of life's strife

But my head is level

Year on year they shoulder the yolk.
Illustrious and kind,
Noble and refined,
Genial, with no wish to provoke.
Sincere as sincere as can be.
Honest – well, as honest as me.
Intelligent and witty,
Trustworthy and gritty.
Shame all this is pure fantasy.
There once was a Ninja so sneaky
He broke their mercenary treaty
For he turned on his own
Because greed was his bone
His skeleton is now not so meaty
Now let this be a lesson to all
Be upstanding and honour your call
Like the Ninja has fared
No sneaks can be spared
If you do it, your never to fall
A murder committed either by a king or a beggar condemned is by our Lord the same!
