"Twinkle, Twinkle...
Drinking Ace of Twinkle's Bar..
Had to pee, but knew how far..
He'd have to walk,and didn't feel up to par..
So Twinkle, Twinkle,
Tinkled.. in a jar...
And was promptly tossed
From Twinkle's Bar..."
Unless you have indisputable proof to the contrary
Always trust a friend who tells you about your obituary
They wouldn't lie, they'd spit it out
It's not something people lie about
A real clue, you're not up to par, heading for a cemetery
Unless you have indisputable proof to the contrary
Always trust a friend who tells you they read your obituary
They wouldn't lie, they'd spit it out
It's not something people lie about
A real clue, you're not up to par, heading for a cemetery
Unless you have indisputable proof to the contrary
Always trust a friend who tells you they read your obituary
They wouldn't lie, they'd spit it out
It's not something people lie about
A real clue, you're not up to par, heading for a cemetery
Was cold before but now there's sun
The old is gone and past is done
The plants now grow since sewn before
Now dance in light for ever-more
Til fall of things that grow too far
And all harvests are up to par
Now snow will fall and things will freeze
But know the world and live with ease
SOS I’m crying out
Can you hear me in the silence?
SOS I’m crying out
I can’t stand up to all this violence
‘Cause I washed upon a sandbar
Destination close and yet so far
I need a little help now
To get this ship back up to par
SOS I’m crying out
Will anybody save my lost soul?
SOS I’m crying out
In this harsh and cruel world, I’ve taken a toll
I used to do it all
But it was never enough
I’d go over and above
I’d do better than my best
And still it wasn’t up to par
Now I barely do enough
And guess what~
I’m in no worse predicament
It still isn’t enough
But at least I know why
Yes it still sucks
But finally
I’m ok with it

Slap and hit people and they won't be pals
Slag could be used to describe some gals
Parts of a lunch box could include a strap
Par for a rapper on stage is to rap
Strops have been used on losers in sports
Straw could always be used to hide warts
Rats only in movies would be a star
Rap from me would not be up to par
So what about the above has come to past?
The first words are all spelled reverse of the last!
When you hitch your wagon to a new star
you best make sure she’s up to par
For if she fails, your wagon’s unhitched
WNBA's 'bright college star' ~
already heading straight for the ditch

In case you're not sure, the 'star' I refer
to is none other than the vastly overrated
Caitlin Clark -- a college star, who (I pre-
dict) will flame out in the WNBA.
I hired a robot
To write poems for me
Now I'm able to rhyme
In modern technology
Though his imagination
Isn't quite up to par
The relaxation I get
Outweighs it by far
From 0 to 1
To 1 0 1
He likes to write
In binary bytes for fun
As long as the rhymes
Keep flowing from him
He can have all that is mine
From the head of my pen
If all this goes well
We'll just wait and see
But I might even hire
A robot to read poems for me
I use my toaster oven almost
Every single day.
A toasted bagel starts me off
In just the perfect way.
But lately, it’s been taking
Way too long to get things hot
And to close the door, you have to
Give it everything you’ve got.
This morning signaled its demise;
The door is stuck ajar,
The final culmination proving
It’s not up to par.
But there’s no need to wallow
In a crumb tray filled with sorrow,
For Amazon will send a new
Replacement by tomorrow!
It was my birthday when I first saw you;
You looked so happy, and I was too.
You went through so much pain for me;
And all the while I could see;
All the love you have for me.
Before God sent me to be with you;
He told me the special life I was due.
So I know what kind of person you are;
And I will try to live up to par,
I know you've tried for so many years;
To have a baby to love so dear.
And I will love you every day and night;
My precious Mom, who gave me life.
