I was born
in 1944
many things
have happened
prior to
and since then
but being born
was the greatest
influence
on my life;
up to now.
Very happy with my new fridge magnet
Up to now twelve fridges it did attract
Now that's very literal
Should explain it to all
You see... oh never mind, just ask your kiddies in fact
FOR AMY (triple Haiku)
in that secret place
to dream of those times just pass’d
sweet music and tears
gone not but lingers
in the veins on the fingers
listen out of time
sounds come up to now
ghostly harmonies renew
constantly renew
Someone told me what they saw last night
A mirror reflecting some bright light
Rudolph told Dasher 'tis true
There was a line or two
Oh! Santa's sleigh's mirror now turned white
After reading Andrea's limerick about Santa being drunk..Just for fun
Another dream
I am
I think
of my Red Vineyard
sold for just four-hundred
It is expensive here.
I pay in pictures
Up to now all is well..
My depression is to great
to bear!
What is to be done?
VAN GOGH committed suicide in 1890 just 37.
Understand that you’re loved
Gracious goodness…I am beloved
Hated, jaded — I get it…but I love you, my other beloved…other, ugh, you’re beautiful just the way you are and no one looks at the looks, but always on the books is important!
! Wyd? What are you up to now? Behave and be brave somehow… I gtg ttyl!
I am not ugly but no one loves me
They are so hungry for sex and money!
I am not sexually impotent guy
But up to now my life is full of good bye!
The people insult me for my gray hairs
They do the things whatever devil dares!
God knows I am not at all a bad person
But they treat me so bad for no good reason!
We all have a set number of sunrises
Maybe I’m about halfway through mine
Up to now I can confidently surmise
That our most valuable resource is time
Easy to get sucked up in the scurry
Attention focused on the wrong things
Better to wash away the wave of worry
Instead cherish the moments life brings
There is a man in this world
I have yet to meet.
I hope he will understand,
Concerning love, I have clay feet.
Not that love isn't apart of my life,
But up to now, has only shown me strife.
I want a man who will share life's ups and
downs, not a man when trouble comes,
Is nowhere to be found.
God said,"it's not good for man to be
alone". I wonder if He means women too?
Because Honey, there's something in side
of me, that keeps me looking for you.
While waiting for my mammogram,
A most annoying test,
I had a thought no poetry
Has up to now addressed.
About the ones whose job is
Squeezing every woman’s breast
And manipulating angles
‘Til it’s properly finessed.
With each mammary maneuver,
Getting patients more distressed,
She keeps kneading and adjusting,
Like a potter who’s possessed.
What a way to make a living!
Though it’s time that I confessed
That I feel much better getting
These reproaches off my chest.
What peace does man know?
When he chooses not to show
The sweet taste of honesty
In his chosen destiny.
Honesty is the face of content
Forever the weapon of defense,
To guide the restless heart of man,
Frantically shrugging to take a stand.
Wake up sweet honesty!
Roam this land bold and free,
Condeming ignorance on this earth,
Up to now, from the time of birth.
The garment of honesty is my shield,
Leading and protecting until;
Like the golden setting sun
My days work is done!
