My Love For You
michael kissed me
he pulled the love from me
beneath a thousand shing eyes
our audience agreed
of our first love
two hearts emerging
from untrod paths...

White Night
large feathery snowflakes gently fall...
a panoramic overlay conceals blurred landmarks...
young lovers walk holding hands
explore untrod virginal snowy paths
beneath a faint watchful moonlight chaperon...

A Married Man's Muse
Every day I went away
Near fifty years of work
Pleasantly I spent the day
Midst temptation's lurk
Pretty women all around
Everywhere I turned
Dazzling smiles, alluring frowns
For so many my heart yearned
Alas, I was a married man
A trooper, faithful to his wife
But now she's gone, the field I scan ~
Ponder paths untrod in life
~ This, of course, is pure fiction ~...

New Songs of Light
We walk down paths
previously untrod
Dancing lightly on the earth
we come to the conclusion
that the dark angel
has decided to leave
us in peace

Frankenstein's Monster
Take the dead;
use their parts
to make a wretch,
this morbid art—
Frankenstein, Frankenstein!
You are to blame
for the deadness
in your heart.
Great scientists
applaud you,
what— because you
play a god!
Frankenstein, Frankenstein!
Broad paths
are better
left untrod.
Look in the mirror;
See the true beast!
You are the nightmare
stealing your sleep!
Oh, Frankenstein;
The self is the
monster that haunts
you—haunts me....

Faith In God
True faith is never taught, it dwells inside-
from time of birth, expands within each soul;
a grant from God- that part of him to guide
our mind and heart- his gift defines us whole.
And it is true- most humans here on earth-
whatever culture, race, or creed- find God.
For by itself- faith spreads its sacred worth;
paved pathways to our soul- are not untrod.
