Replace the Night

L-et Sunday evening pass,
U-nderneath the black sky;
I-t will take a needed rest,
J-ust to make teardrops dry.
I-t's a beautiful dawn, breaking to warm your heart;
E-arly light shines above, as the dark shadows depart.

M-isty Monday morning
I-s turning lovely and bright;
L-et twelfth day December
A-im to replace the
N-ight.

Never Let Your Faith Falter

N-ever let your faith falter
E-ven if the night is blue;
L-et the new dawn break,
L-et the beacon shine on
Y-ou.

P-ouring heavy raindrops
A-re dark, black and gray;
I-nclement clime will fade
N-ovember twelfth day.
A-llow your trust to glow,
G-reat love must not waver;
A-im and hope for sunshine, never let your faith falter.

Shining Star In the Sky

A-bove there's a shining star,
R-adiance sparkles so bright;
N-ight turns into new day,
E-vening shadows into
L-ight.

V-ile weather turns fine
E-very twelfth day of May;
R-ain has just disappeared,
C-old chill drifts into gray.
E-arly morn has broken,
L-anes are blue up high;
E-ven the dark wants to see
S-hining star in the sky.

Once the Sun Starts To Shine

K-ind weather will show up,
A-fter you rise from slumber;
R-aindrops never fall
E-very twelfth day
N-ovember.

O-nce the beacon begins to rise;
M-ist and haze will fade
U-nderneath the blue skies.

Love God With All Your Heart

L-ove God with all your heart,
Y-our soul and your mind;
N-ever turn away from Him, He shall never leave you behind.

C-herish God with all your heart,
O-n the twelfth day of May;
N-ever lose your true faith,
D-on't let your love fade away.
E-ver since your life began, the Father's blessings also start;

Premium Member my enemy gave to me

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my enemy gave to me
Twelve upset tummies gurgling
Eleven spoiled milk cartons curdling
Ten missed opportunities to achieve
Nine judges who refused my reprieve
Eight frustrations and barriers
Seven Covid-19 carriers
Six casseroles with a bad smell
Five empty packs of Pall Mall
Four creepy sashes
Three worn out lashes
Two cobras who attacked me,
And a grizzly bear in a honey tree.

Tuesday

One day in early may
three children at play
mama turned papas way
and said we're drifting away

they'd been together for years
they've shared, shed many tears
but now their end was near
this was papas worst fear

all through their divorce
papas voice was coarse
giving in without much force
half of everything, of course

this day in early May
was papas downfall they say
his heart stopped, their he lay
on the twelfth day
a Tuesday
