"...if you are too careful love will not find you." ~Rumi
If you are not careful
Love will find you,
Like fire finds a tinder.

Wise and beautiful
But too careful
- you...
Live unpatienatly
Act unconsciosly
- me..
Worlds are different
Tie is difficult
- us..
I expect too much
You dont need my touch
-bad..
Steel i have a hope
Be with you for long
- yet..
All Words
All Words Mean More
Than What You Heard
Them Say, Or
What You Said
They Would, Or
What You Thought
They Did, Or
What You Meant
They Say…
They Could
EXPLODE!
But Don’t Be
Too Careful…
They Aren’t
All Yours.

Optimism can be a blessing in disguise
If you’re not careful it can turn to arrogance
If you are too careful it can dwindle to the smallest hope
Optimism has to have a balance or it can become dangerous
It can create a whole new experience in your world
Or destroy your world in a split second.
Miss my fam most days
don't know why..
blame it on the rain,
blame it on the sunshine.
Trust isn't an issue with me..
usually.
Just allow less access
'cause you can't be too careful
these days.
You have to look..
to find it in a heart
it's a game of chance
and odds..
so look hard.
If you want, or if you need
look deep,
most days.
I keep my heart
in a box
Lined in lead
triple locked
Can't be too careful
you know these days
With Kryptonite
and what girls say
My heart's been hurt
so many times
I had the lead
velvet lined
To give it somewhere
soft to lay
Until it feels
it feels okay
My heart you see
can indeed
Be the most
peculiar thing
Softened in
its tender parts
Hardened from
all the hurt
Hence the box
triple locked
Lined in lead
for this poor heart
I went to Walmart this morning - yes, it was very brave.
My dander was up - I was on high alert - for active shooters and the unmasked.
Then I saw him! A man on the cookie aisle - he looked like he had the monkeypox!
So, I kicked him in the nuts and ran - you can’t be too careful out there.
It turns out that he was just an 80-year-old retiree wearing a polka-dot shirt.
I apologized - from a safe distance - as the paramedics carted him away.
It felt like a close call.
