Your shadow returns
In pearled tinges to calm wound’s ache---
Still, I grieve for death
When final lamp of midnight fades
Trying to fathom
the science of colours, the
beautiful swarm of
shades and tinges: the abyss
and the heaven in your eyes.
The dark reveals,
all tinges...
The clear highlights,
all colors...
with a tremor of light-
daybreak tinges
the nigrescent sky grey-
the horizon appears
distinct in my mind's eye

Autumn's splendor tinges the Ginko
Turning all its green leaves to gold
In Autumn's beauty his love extold
So many many years ago....
Dawn
tinges
the bleak sky-
hope enlightens
all.
With a
tremor of light
a black and white filter
inks the nigrescent sky with the
Day star.
The sun rises south
A little later each day
Fall's angular sun
As a chill tinges each leaf
Blue Jay sings thanks_eats acorns
the sunset
sculptures t'morrow-
with thought
the horizon appears-
daybreak tinges
my apprehension
the rising sun warms-
little by little
wholeness returns
I remember your
Early morning latte
Late evening cappuccino
Midnight espresso
And all things between them.
But now, I just have their tinges
Be it your coffees
Or your memoirs.
finely coiffured hair
blowing in fall's swift cool breeze..
for sale: crepe myrtle
a hint of fall's chill
tinges the leaves crimson red...
auburn curly locks
Taken down hit in the back of the head
Red...
Stabbed in the heart you bled
Red...
Alone in an alley left for dead
Red...
Fantasy is gray like lead
Reality tinges your sight with Red...
soon
April's
unfolding
of new flowers
and tinges of green
upon our trees-
ushers in
splendid
spring.

Sunrise ripples across the lake
confusions surface as I awake
Amid the eerie dayspring light
yesterday's memories glow so bright
Morning tinges the nigrescent sky
hope emerges in my mind's eye.
Tinges of red and gold fall away as confetti tint
Beneath on high, naked limbs wave swept
A taint of winter's coming mistral wind
Whispers out, with just a rose cheek hint
Autumn is here upon parade
with a tremor of light-
daybreak tinges
the nigrescent sky grey-
the horizon appears
distinct in my mind's eye

exquisite effervescence surfaces dreamily
glittering pearls flickering tinges from
the sunlights caste
admiring change
through chocolate eyes
and hungry hearts
to submerge in pure water
with unbridled zest
thoughts pounding
echoing loudly inside my brain
feelings hammering
clamoring tinges of this pain
a facade that slips
its anchoring clips
strength that's feigned
a tin heart, that's dangling from
a braided chain
The sun sets on fringes
As the tired day cringes
Hope in the sky hinges
On tinges of twilight
As the night sky infringes
On my thoughts, that singes!

I believe I will be a beach cat when I grow up she said.
Mrs. Lounge Layer, with striped fur with tinges of red.
I will lie on my chair, with my fluffy cat feet in the air.
And I will soak up those Vitamin D’s through my head.
bending tree branches
each little flower smile-filled ---
spirit romantic
earth is green covered
no kernel of mud is seen ---
crickets stridulate
green arches of trees
stand welcoming the sunbeams ---
grasshoppers concert
Coveted entrance opens again for the sunrays
Whisper with the tinges of clouds succeeds
Coats of fog and moats of hesitation dropped
Sunbeams set to get into the tidal summit

I see a Japanese lantern,
With gossamer petals, she grows,
Crafted in intricate pattern,
She gives a magnificent pose,
Striking red and dressed in fringes,
She inspires with bleeding tinges.

For Line Gauthier's "Bite Size Poem No 16" contest
I trace the harden, scars of bark
Merely, a piece of heart has healed
One by one and letter to letter
With tinges of smile as I feel
The puppy love that fades within inscription
Passions scratched upon a Weeping Willow
So far away are the lives in parallel
All abstractions as... statues in a field
