Notes About The Poem

2007 reposts resequenced-inspired by theme of Nina's contest

My Eternal Star

Dawn
tinges
the bleak sky-
hope enlightens
all.
With a
tremor of light
a black and white filter
inks the nigrescent sky with the
Day star.

What beautiful imagery; I had to look up the word nigrescent; the dictionary stated it is "rare". Love that!

As the Psalm says weeping at night but joy comes in the morning - whenever that "morning" is with the rising our heavenly "day star." I really love this Brian.
