I really enjoyed this, I didn't know what crepe myrtles were to be perfectly honest. :)

I love crepe myrtles and have many on my property. Your poem is as beautiful as any bloom they have produced.

Thanks for the visit..We went by a nursery wholesale farm yesterday..They had rows of crepe myrtle with only one center trunk then the limbs at the top with leaves which looked somewhat like a person shaking their hair out in the breeze..That is from where the idea came to write the poem..We have crepe myrtle on our place as well..They are nice and colorful in summer and the fall..Thanks for stopping by..Sara
