We all moan about our troubles
Whether they are many or few
Take time out to reflect
There are many much worse off than you.

Time Out! It feels so good
To sit in the sun,
And breathe in the air.

Birds sing! Warm air is balmy...
I smell the flowers,
And I don’t have a care.

Love Summer and Sring

am also a beach bummer
love the park a swing
I LOVE SUMMER AND SPRING

In books of words and phrases
One finds literature that amazes
If you flick through a book
Or take time out to look
Your emotions and knowledge it raises

The sound of rain fascinates.
Instantly the cosmos closes in around me.
I sense my world regenerate.

Time Out of My Mind

Five minutes.
My day with you
pricks like thorns.
Tiny bleeding stings.
Numerous.
I despise the thief of sunrise
who takes with him the morning dew.
And you.

Be Quiet

Take time out and
Be quiet, listen to
Your inner self
Tune the noise of
Everyday life out and
Just listen to the voice
It will help you to
Solve any problem

Beach Time/ Out of Town For a Week

Will miss my souper friends
But need some beach time
Need some sun and fun

Seafood and junk food
Vacation is on the way
Will return on 5/29/10

I can smell the salt spray
Just got to get away!!

How does a healthy rose with grown thorns
Take the time out of their day
To degrade a decayed rose without any thorns
For having to grow up in poisoned soil
That the planter so willingly decided to bury them in?

Time out! reflect on what's real
too frustrated to explain
the feverish burn, silence
the dance of my hands; sit still!
Time to remember, to feel
little five minute sessions
steel bands on my mind, don't
heal

I was closer to my father
or so I thought.
But I now
miss my mother more,
and the only explanation I have
is he was more knowable
and she more vast.
