You're a slim, vivid, thrumming line
of Living. Spiky relief against
recurrent grey. All we all ever are
breathes in you. You know it....

Hearts and Love 2k11
Love saunters into hearts like Summer's day...
Creating warmth, thus illuminating.
Heartfelt thrumming strings gently as Sunday;
Beating harmonies illuminating....

O, the love of pure heart's passion
    thrumming wildly beneath his blouse

What he lacks in words, he makes up in action
then look ~ that boyish smile of satisfaction...

Hearts pounding, alarms sounding
  Threats abounding

Tempers flaring, horns blaring
  Demons swearing

Pulses thrumming, fingers drumming
  Epiphany coming

Pressure soaring, oceans roaring
  Combatants warring

Ho-Hum -- Another Day

Beach Music
Pulsating through me,
I feel the pounding surf,
so sweet and free,
like music to my senses,
I dance to its tune.

Moving and flowing,
everything is one,
thrumming through my veins,
I was born of this tempest.

The rythym and the melody
chiimes in time with my heart beat,
creating a symphony of its own,
the sand is my stage....

I ...
sit by the
window ...
cold, damp air
wrapping
tendrils 'round my
nape,
reminding me of
February ...
of her ... of farewell
chill thoughts
gather like
a knot
in the back of
my skull ...
thrumming like Thor's
mallet -
commending the
haughty
hell that dripped
from her
baby-soft
bows
like honeyed poison ...
to ruin
me....

Cacophony
Breaking, bashing, creaking, crashing
Pandemonic pounding pain
Reverberating bone to brain
Slamming, smashing, thrumming, thrashing
Mechanical chaotic grate
Echoing; can't concentrate

Scraping, scarring, jangling jarring
Bastard, broken beat becomes
Endless, dreadful demon drums
Maiming, marring, ringing, roaring
Blaring banging babel beats
Repeats, repeats, repeats, repeats...

The Clock's Soul
The clock’s hands never rest,
each movement sharp, relentless.
Behind each tick,
a thousand moments slip away—
its soul thrumming between seconds.

The gears grind,
but the world spins unaware,
unfeeling, indifferent.
When the wheel stops,
when the pulse fades,
the clock dies,
its breath swallowed by silence.

No longer wound,
its soul extinguished—
a life once turning, forgotten in the quiet....

An Inflammatory Condition
Hours nibble at a back strain. Tenuous strings were tugged lifting water bottles. You wonder how weak and fragile you are. How vulnerable to those ancient red tides within that can bend your iron like plasticine, turn you into a crooked question mark. Quartered by straining horses, neural fibers alliterate a thrumming fugue upon a desiccated elastic band; one now stretched far too taut.

Still Life Still Death
still the same
still holding séances in batholes
still thrumming
and still drumming on my tinderbox

still letting the copycat days
kill themselves over and over
the angels are on strike
all over the Mandrake Mountain

still the dawn
is covered with cobwebs
of cold marine graveyards
still the dusk
is X-Rayed through our bones

still I exist
even though it feels I don’t
painted on the mouldy wall
just a part of a still life scenery...

I spoke my moving mind
My heart was breathing rapidly
My ears were thrumming silence
Filled with the joy
That came up beside me

I was seeing sounds that spoke
Into my moving mind
It took one glance and told me
That I would never die

Breathing knowledge
Thinking truth
Speaking to the all of you

I sound was rest upon my shoulders
Lifting me to speak louder
I saw the truth float through the air
And sit down beside you

I knew it then
That I would never die

Premium Member Storm's Coming - a Poet's Dozen
black clouds gathering thunder rolls in the distance a storm is brewing Winds of change are blowing. Can you feel the tension growing? Discontentment, fear and anger thrive, while integrity and trust are trampled on. Yes, an awful storm is coming. We must not be taken by surprise. Revolution's heartbeat's thrumming, people open up your eyes! It's time for truth and no more lies.

Your Heartbeat Slow

Listen to your heartbeat slow,
Listen to its ho-hum beats,
Slowly as the pain retreats,
Listen to its thrumming low;

Wake up to the pain within,
Wake up to its panic call,
Gently as the ache does crawl,
Wake up to darkness therein;

Look out for your frail heart's cry
Look out for the symptoms, yes,
Well before the pain rises,
Look out for med help that's nigh.

Journey of Black
Riding darkness like a fevered horse
arriving nowhere
desire drained into
dust devils
an endeavor
escaping light
and the darkness behind my eyes
thrumming with loathsome pains of the soul
so deep
crypt-like
Silent screams claw sanguine rivulets
across
placid ponds of thought
emptying, devoid.
Wanting solitude; needing loneliness
killing to feed.
Jet steed foamy and dying
dusty caws peal from the throat
of a waiting vulture
who devours black carrion like I do....

Untitled
I love the way you lay hands on me.
Soft, gentle, careful kind but not like
I'm breakable no, more like I'm valuable.
I feel something like a precious stone in
your soft jewelers palms.

I cherish the heat that rises from
your body
That 98.6 degrees of you, the sound
of your heart is my homing signal.
That steady strong thrumming keeps more than you alive.

I love you like a shape shifter,
Id transform for you.
I'd become anything so you could carry me with you always....
