Let's Be Brave 2k11
Many souls linger therein pity's pot.
Many minds subcomb thereto th' Addler's.
O, shall we permit ourselves hereto rot?
So challenges white waters -- the heart of Paddler's....

The Israelites fleeing Mt. Sinai
like children at the final school bell

When the Lord quickened their pace to Israel
'We can't run fast enough,' they yelled

Five Marble Pillars For New Year
To learn how to recite koine Greek
That I may drink from the life-giving creek

Finish reading the words of Plato
To grow my knowledge thereto

Give up eggs and milk
So I can fully wear the white silk

Travel this dark world of hellfire
That I may hear Christ’s silver lyre

Be better for aeons to see
So I can become a marble tree...

Aged,gnarled rooted in him
Hardened in part,supporting the tree;
Fallen, but not cast off are you,
Broken in unbelief,provoked jealous
As wild boughs engrafted thereto;
Fallen, but not cast off are you.
Bitter yet productive, like fruit from the stone.
Natural branch shoots,no less able of grafting thereto;
Fallen ,but not cast off are you....

I Was There
I was there when u couldn’t bear
I was there to help you share
I was there through the ups and the downs
I was there through the ins and the outs
I was there when all you would do was scream and shout
I was there when you were drowning in your own doubts
I was thereto keep you from floating into the air
I was their because,
I CARE

Cherish
Though the sea is far, the wind still flies thereto.
Though the sun is set, it's rays still shine from afar.
Once submerged in the vast beauty of this world,
Yet never stopped by the mundane rocks
I held in my hand.

The water still runs crisp and clear from the olden days
But the bridge above has forever collapsed.
Blossoms fall, littering the surface,
The empty tree stands, a timeless guard....

Around the line at Riverbend
And off the bridge into quicksand
Raised later by many hands-
Brushed & dusted,still very neat
Back into service,a story hard to beat !

Note.
The train fell in the creek in 1891,rescue then proved in vain
Four years later it was raised frpm 100 feet deep with little damage thereto.
Waste not want not in those days!
We could learn much from this approach in this 'green' era...

Sonnet Xxiv Hold On
I know you’ve been hit
The Messenger of Misery
He has done Evil
He’s done it against You
He’s done You much good.

He will bend you Hard
As if to break you, but No.
He will hit on you
Like Long-time Enemies

But the truth and fact remains
Neither God nor Nature is against You.
It is just the path of greatness.

To desire the beauty of success
Is to embrace the process thereto.

Premium Member ''The Essence of a Best Friend''
The essence of a best friend
is tender and most true;
its lovingness knows no end
and shows its grace thereto.

The essence of a best friend
abounds in godly love,
and ascends and descends
to and from Heaven above.

The essence of a best friend
is full of forgiveness
and mercies that transcend,
and frees those who transgress.

But most of all, the essence
of a best friend is his need
to be a constant presence
in a friend's life for life indeed!...

Yet I see 'the descriptive given' woven in like silk.)
Is he being held as a terrorist.? Or charged? He pleads
Guilty of journalisam.? Yet has he been pushed into that
Yard.? Guilty he is saying ' yet should that be the case.?
Or is he just tumbling in a fervid word mill-race.? Is any
Body thinking.? Or is it sheer brute force.? How can reason
