Cesspool Tanaga

If they’re testy? Play the fool.
Let those words line a cesspool.
Shade cannot rattle a cloud,
it remains plotting head bowed.

Wolfgang Mozart In Five Lines

Wolfgang Mozart waved baton,
With a sonata to impart.
The Queen of the Night moved no pawn,
Her Magic Flute rather tart,
Somewhat testy a la carte.

Spread the News

U.K. Tom picked a nasty grudge fight
About his much over-lauded Marmite
He got testy and bossy
Toward Deb, the kind Aussie
As he envied her fine Vegemite

Teriyaki Tepee

teriyaki tepee
telegraphs telescope
temperamental tentacles
teasing testy antelope
televising tempting tempos
torturing terriers who mope
teriyaki tepee
you are the utter dope!

Kid With Colic

Kid With Colic

Am a cute kid with case of the colic;
It made me so sad I became bucolic;
Testy have been,
Without a grin;
No wonder my wife was an alcoholic.

Spook An Old Kook

Spook An Old Kook

Like horse Trump shouldn't try to spook;
Just an old geezer and an awkward kook;
You call him dumb;
Testy does become;
He becomes harsh if you were to rebuke.

Terrible Teens

Crochety,crusty and cross,
ever at a loss;
testy,touchy and huffy,
full of fickle fears,
impulsive teenage years.

Sulky,sullen then glad
faddish,fretful or sad;
tense,dejected and downcast,
each day changing fast.

Like a chameleon cast
by teens that,oh so slowly pass.

Truculent Knave

.

     I too have become the
         truculent knave
             fractious
              oh yes
                testy
              peevish
             so cranky
     for the winter hides
           the flower's
               bloom
                 yes
        from mine eyes

It Is a Hoe Down

It is a hoe down the fly told the titmouse
Where though? I only see one house
It’s invisible, but there are clues, I think.
It’s under a mushroom whose inside is all pink.

They searched together, but never found the party.
I’ve got an idea said the titmouse, whose name was Hearty.
Let’s host our own party and invite the fey and fireflies bright.
Great idea! The testy fly said, “This plan feels just right!”

Old Codger and Baby Bunny

So, this bunny was really hungry I guessed.
The old weathered snail was testy in his nest.
That bunny was trying to steal our carrots he said.
This old codger was wrinkled, older, should have been dead.

That baby bunny must have been hungry to dig.
I said to this old codger, whose hair should have been a wig.
He is a thief! The old geezer said, not giving the baby a chance.
I walked away rapidly, almost doing a dance.

The Renovator

Mega-buck ideas
are followed by sledge hammer schemes,
foundations and roof stripped
to the studs.

A posse of hard hats are bent on obeying
her every command & whim
as they knock through walls,
bludgeon bathrooms into submission.

She has added me to her do-over list.
I am being up-graded
into something way less comfortable.
It seems I don't fit-in nor match
and the testy visionary regards me
as far too shaggy to live here.

I’m having a dog house
built for myself.
