Sung in the wild,
not unlike an age to aspire,
a maker of the call too many chime to beguile-
against unlawful spy,
to the face we deny the right,
I rely tentatively the waste on tonight.

perfect single grape

playing hard to get
perfect single grape
clings tentatively to vine

sitting on this old chair
waiting...
choked with despair
I hold onto
that one thing..
Was it care?
Im holding the breath of this cold air..
freeze that moment,
still that gasp
as I ask...
if I dare
tentatively...gently...
are you there?

I do not know?
the draw to you is untenable,
unformed yet perpetual,
tentatively checked, indirect,
corrected...
irreversibly defined.
and this distance is appreciable,
pining, yet unspeakable,
wandering dazed and crazed,
directed...
unrequited but aligned

profuse cobwebs briskly brushed away
the piano rediscovered
tentatively touching ivory
ten fingers revive euphony
old memories begin to swell
Papa’s best-loved tune fills up the room

Takes his time in sunshine,
Tentatively stepping.
Tranquil summer follows,
Trailed by its vivid blooms.
Too sweet fragrance abounds!
True value takes awhile,
Typical of rainbows.

Eyes
contact,
brief at first,
then a shy smile
as gentle blushes
tint an ivory mask,
unearthing bygone colours
long since buried ‘neath fallen stones.
A light touch of skin ignites a spark,
tentatively stirring a sleeping heart.

Somewhat needed.
Your presence allows me to feel...
effectively treated.
Fleeting.
As is all.
Resting Ever tentatively.
Enticing Ever memorably from, I can't recall?
Incessant static, analogous to comparison.
Amenable.
Hits the spot.
Chasing what you've lost.
By leaving it behind.

Serenade me with Chopin
As you and the piano become one.
As his nimble fingers skim the keys
His music permeates my soul.
The subtle notes start tentatively
....soon building to a crescendo.
The air is filled with happy notes
... I feel your smile come through the keys.

As the seconds of your time
Begin to merge with mine
With every brush of skin
We touch tentatively within
As you listen to me chat away
Within your closed lips
I hear all you have yet to say
As you look into my eyes
I stare deep inside a beautiful mind
As your future asks where will you be
I sneak a dream what could be we

The lady who serves counter
at the bodega knows my weakness for dry sherry,
a wordless gentleness between knowing smiles.
There is this connective tissue,
of an inappropriate and unpromising kind
that tentatively links to a reckless longing
not just for dry sherry,
but to a secret accomplice
who serves counter at the bodega.

The crinkled plaster, stained the color of a bruised orange, remains dry.
The dark white
clouds of a cold April sky
on a Sunday
drape over
the watchful pine trees in the wind..
standing so close.
The cold Spring air is damp, the shower drenches her pallid skin; she touches her wet bun tentatively without looking at her face in the mirror.

STAY THERE
AND DO NOT SET ONE STEP MORE
Tentatively I set one step
He lands me on the floor
I'm scared
I WARNED YOU, TO YOUR ROOM
And I obey
Frightened to the core
Because every single word that's said
Is only spoken inside my head

But with a fury,
Sudden and harsh
Her loneliness seeps back in;
Reabsorbed through her cheek
that rested so tentatively upon him
Back through his chest where he had let her leave it
It turns her cheeks pale
as it settles somewhere in her lungs,
ratting around with each breath
A hollow noise
A harsh exhale, and it's out
Leaving her dizzy
The cloud of it hangs above her head
Where to put it now?

despised not for beauty.
That are here, there and everywhere

Gently,

but not really
alone. Strolling along
accompanied by my friends at
my feet.
Brushing

So aptly named dent de lion

Cinquain
As she tiptoed through the thoughts,
Scattered across her mind,
She tentatively stepped on,
Afraid of the horrors she might find.
She doubted her emotions,
She refused to trust her heart,
They had led her astray before,
Then tore her world apart.
She chose to forgive herself,
She lay her ghosts to rest,
Her past now behind her,
The pain eased in her chest.
One day at a time,
She knew she'd have to take,
To a brand-new future,
She has new memories to make.

Tentatively, I opened up to you with my soul.
I feel the calm connection that binds us as whole.
This Love we share makes me cry.
I beg and beg and wonder why!
You have chosen me, me! as tears start to flow.
You tenderly embrace me with love, that knows.
We stare deeply into our eyes, lost in love.
As our hearts open their wings like a dove.
Our souls are on fire as our hearts ignite the flames.
We are one, unbreakable, for our love will not be tamed.

The Blossoming
Within shivers
Hot like
Ice
Hides he
Phantom yet
Passes her
Daily
Hides
She
So shyly
Dark tresses
Unsure
Within
This
Diamond like
Shines
She
Tentative
Within
New
Ability
Halls grow dark
And
Only
He
Haunts her
This want
Disco ball
Of tentatively
She
Walks within new
Wants
Cursed within
The
Exquisite
Like shards pang
Desperately
A lullaby
I can
No longer
Bring
Hold her so
Close
Yet so far
Away
This new life
For
In Solo
So
Exquisite
She sings
