Something wicked
Come this way
Numbing me
From all the pain
Take a hit
Swollow hard
Go blind
Look away
No more stress
Something wicked
Wash me clean
See nothing
But beauty
Reality
Is nothing
But a dream
Smoke and mirrors
Where is the truth
It's no longer here
Because something wicked
Walks my way
Up one night
With nothing to do
So let's buy a bowl
And load a bowl or two
Let's get high
And forget our past
We'll smoke it up
Till the very last
I'm watching you now
As you take a hit
Oh there you go
It's time to trip
Now you're relaxed
And it's all so fine
So pass me the bong
Cause I'm next to get high
shoot it up
drink it down
take a tab
erase a frown
have some fun
pay the fee
take a hit
get happy
snort a line
feel really good
inhale smoke
i dont know if i should
labelled now
stuck in the mix
now its gone
where's my fix
it's called addiction
i swear i've gone insane
hundreds of different chemicals
all going through my brain.
My bones can be broken by stones and sticks,
But cruel words can also get in their licks.
At times, it's more than bones that take a hit -
Other parts are vulnerable, I admit.
Sadly, words can even break my brain,
Rendering me certifiably insane.
Yet, far worse than that, for heaven's sake,
Sometimes, they cause my heart to break.
Sit alone in my room again
My curtains are black so the light can’t come In even though I want it to
Self destruction is my only home
And the only one I’ve ever known
Light up that cigarette
Take a hit of that pen
Get high again to say too much
Clean the dishes and go to bed
Everyday is the same so why should I stay
M-ay you avoid seeing the stars,
A-lways be on guard;
R-emain vigilant and alert,
I-n living this life so hard.
L-et your eyes avoid seeing the stars,
Y-our head must not take a hit;
N-ovember fourteenth Tuesday, be aware of the misfit.
F-ight your way through,
R-efrain from losing the wars;
I-t's time to wear the helmet,
A-void seeing the
S-tars.
Hey there friend,
Are you happy
To see me?
I like to see you too;
You make me laugh.
Let's smile together;
I hope that it's real,
What you feel
When you're silly.
Can I ask you,
When you take a hit,
Do you think you can do it,
Do anything?
What's your tomorrow?
Can I borrow
Some of your nonchalance,
"Do what I want"
Attitude?
Can I help you?
Do you need help?
Are you happy?
Form:
The Court, they report,
Will be coming up short
When Kennedy leaves
(Plans nobody can thwart).
We’ll see who will be
Chosen as nominee,
Surely someone divisive,
I can guarantee.
The fears that appear
From the left will steer clear
Of conservatives’ hopes
That the old days draw near.
This split, I submit,
Means we’ll all take a hit
As the country unravels;
A bad time to quit.
At tender old age
This man doesn't have IT
The BLADDER fell off the LADDER
While fogetting to take a -HIT
Flabby fish wants BAIT
But nothin' a comin'
The BELLY turning JELLY
A reality that I especially HATE
Advancing TIMER
Dreading ALZHEIMERS
The bulge is unsightly
and so is his MANNERS
Coming to TERMS
Before I get WORMS
Stay away from this geezer
Before you get my GERMS!!
In some sense,
I am mighty me,
and in many others,
I am puny me,
its bad that mighty me,
seems to dominate,
making that puny punier,
those who want me to be puny,
do not even notice it,
they do not stand,
but glare and sit,
and usually,
I take a hit,
I wished somebody would help,
me cure,
for now and more,
from this me mighty,
that has taken my peace,
and left me all fighty.
And I'm starting to remember
What I'm trying to forget
My sober state of mind
Is giving me a fit
Demons in my head
I can't take a
More I think about it
The mader i get
My demons win again
It's time to take a hit
Who am I kidding
I'm so inadequate
I'm Just a drug addict
I can never quit
Put the gun to my head
and just get it over with
Which reminds me
I'm starting to remember
What I'm trying to forget
