In the count of hundreds..
I can tell you why,
you gazed at me..
and what you did whisper.....!!!

She breathes this love in,
Wings of doves begin to dwell,
A spread of force forms.

Stop by for a drink
Relax, and let us toast ~
as glasses we clink
and of good times
we think ~
The Gift of Friendship!
Laughter,
Smiles,
Tears of endless,
Frown,
Sadness peels,
Raws the heart,
Opening up the soul,
During the reading-
Book buyers,
In emotional melody tune with the poet.
Form:
robins frolic leaves
swishing branch woodpecker beats-
rabbit hops in sync

Contest A Haiku with Movement - Nature themed
If I was a form of poetry
I’m not a haiku or sonnet;
More like a brand new remix,
just what I want to be;
Inventing new rhymes
reversing lines,
syllables
out of
sync.
Little one winks to her big James
Her mind wants the evening games
Ones desire to be astride
For their lips to collide
Passion fueled they danced into flames
.
hysterical lights
flash out of sync from her tree....
she can't remember
laughter in the snow,
only a grave beneath it

you have it right,
it is in sync,
speak of the light,
without a blink,
comes paradise,
Father Son & Holy Ghost,
have cause for some to drink.
don't ya know it?

The Tonight show is once more a big hit
Since Johnny and Jay left, we worried quite a bit
But Jimmy came in time
With his lip-syncs sublime
As they prance around, the hilarity won't quit

the dog looked hopeful, and wanted the nod
His owner gave it gladly to his sidekick Todd
Todd ran off in the rain, jumping high with glee
Throwing loads of water up on his knee
Happy they were, two kindred folks, in sync you see
my yearning afire
a deepest desire
I pray and aspire
could I but inspire
the one I admire
we both perceive
come to believe
never to leave
or to deceive
together
we weather
forever
I do
love you
true
Two souls mixed in tunes,
Rippling chords in harmony,
Strumming the same song.
Rhythmic love notes,
Vibrating flames of passion,
In synced hearts of pair,
We sing vows of love,
Pitching notes of high and low,
Not to bounce off key.
Santa Claus, he scratched his beard
When he noticed something weird!
Christmas sales in summer? What a holiday hitch!
“Add a day!”, said Father Time, “To fix this glaring glitch”.

Quatrain #528:
SYNC
Sign that sure mind where touch greets cheer,
Yes peace of mind moves joy right here;
Note how love finds fond wonder's gaze,
Charm can thus bind such fragrant spheres.

If you could read between the lines
My heart holds as my bars
You'd see that I am trapped
And needing a new start
Can you release me from these chains
So I can be free to love again
I long for you and our heart's new tune
To be in sync and in love with you

My boiling point’s hit third degree;
‘Lying swathed in euphoric slick.’
Your lyrics demand a reply;
What’s up with no resolution?
Left an out of sync melody,
finish every strum that you pick;
I am aware your humor’s wry,
but so is my ammunition;
I’m what you need to amplify,
don’t you dare mistreat my passion.

I added a bit of rhyme within and without just for delight

contest: Delightful Diamante
I awaken here,
my head upon your shoulder
to start a new day---
and the song of your heart beats
in perfect rhythm with mine
You sleep undisturbed
unaware that I watch you
My heart fills with love
for the boy I once married
and for the man you are now

Am I out of sync, am I somewhat behind,
Feeling puzzled when jokes, I can't find.
Did I do wrong in following my parents' advice,
In discipline and politeness, did I pay the price?
I wonder if I'm not in tune with the times,
Or if my upbringing's made me miss life's chimes.
But maybe in my values, there's something I've gained,
In a changing world, my roots remain unchained.
Sometimes I want to see you
Just see you walking by
Sometimes the streaming's not enough
I need to see you with my eyes
Like now I'm sitting by myself
I really want you here
Just to be and talk with
Just to know that you are near
The time, it passes slowly
I only see you now and then
But in a flash it's gone so fast
And then I'm missing you again
I know there's so much to you
Much more than you let see
Far deeper than feelings dictate
You resonate with me

Many words that were writ in ink
Near and far from the kitchen sink
Where you could hear dishes clink
Here I sit and think
While I sip and drink
Still got many ships to sink
No time to call it quits or blink
Close and away from bits of zinc
Sh** does stink
Got to find the missing link
Without getting distracted by girls giving winks
Never quitting, because eventually it'll sync
Can't let it shrivel and shrink
Staying quick like a lynx
Not stiff like the Sphynx
