In the frosty boudoir of the winter
The fireplace's blaze seems dancing.
Legs and arms move hastily to hinder.
Hands and shoulders are swiveling.
As if there was a lovely lady dancer.

eyes open
tears jerked
edges fallen
from
corners
circle me wagons
turquoise bead bender
swirling swiveling heads
counter me balanced
high-voltage death
sky lit up stars
night fell
fall on
me
own
escaped
borrows love
gutter prom kiss
naked shingles skin
rake me across
the
coals
here we are
eyes open
?
Everybody owns an office,
Though not already swiveling its chair;
Everybody, custodian of some promise,
To think differently, simply unfair.
The yet-to -be jangling -the keys to -it
Isn't to be dismissed as unfit
Between Mr. Dalton and Lady Eunice,
All repositories of some gift
Before their last breaths have it surface
If not stupendously, more than a bit.
Memory of Liberty
Ballroom entanglements of crush induce dancers,
Flouncing hem of skirt of my lady the Royal Queen,
Wavy as ocean, swiveling and sweeping in spiraling
concerto,
The sea of floating headgears bobbing up at the simms,
Footfalls on the parade paved hill tarmac of many
destinies,
Lives held in captivities in the jaws of colonial
metropolitan,
Imploding, searchlight to conquer the fun-fare frontiers,
Not really I replied
I could not actually imagine a pandemic
In my lifetime
Had never heard the term pandemic
Or if I had,
I did not recall it.
The world has turned itself
upside down and sideways
People have stopped socializing
For the pandemic is here
Swiveling her terrifying self
Into every aspect of our lives
When I get to heaven I will ask
about her, for she is stealing our
days with each other, making me irritable.
