sweetening the morn
with honey-drenched melody...
a cedar waxwing

If humanity lives in receptacles,
of houses,buildings and clubs,
and is like fluid,
mix in them like sugar crystals,
perfectly not to be found,
and sweetening it abound.
Number 2:
FLATTER
Watch that extra sweet tongue
That curls and swings and stirs
Sweetening the high strung
In clever touch that spurs

Sweetening is the morning due
sheets of mist enveloping two
Shower curtain our naked view
balmy gazes, we see right through
Sight to behold, her beauty true
saturated, midst honey dew
My worst nightmare sat down beside me
With the most angelic face
And whispered things too hard to swallow
His smile sweetening the taste
“All that’s wicked has the upper hand
“All that’s pure has gone to waste.”
"The winter wonderland here, through every window,
The home filled with it's own wonderland,
With the music of old and cheer.
The Douglas fur with many colors,
The sweetening smell from the oven.
All is well,
Happy Holidays."
Chocolate - A Tanka Poem
I like my chocolate
It is sweetening and smooth.
Has it's matrix dark
And many cocoa sugars
When I eat it yum so chocolaty

The search
Names all experience:
Discomfort searching for comfort
Poverty searching for more
Death searching for life
Unsweetened searching for sweetening
The not-yet searching for already
And on and on..
Then there is that star and
The cradle...
Nepenthe- A solemn sip to relax like wine.
A grape like liquid from a freshly sprouted vine.
Yet it not doth to numb a pain- such as Nepenthe
as wine only sweetening my tongue and tooth to wealth
And only the Allah has gifted me his wine- because its soothes
rather be drugged to only pain that yet strentgthens like booze.

Red berries, sweetening neural, red skirt swirls like cyclone

Early morning shivers
Steadied by steaming tea
Sweetening my tongue
Warming me
The Towhee is calling
telling me to drink my tea
I tell him I have
Stop pestering me
The morning sky is crisp
Pine needles are dancing
Birds are all singing
Squirrels are all prancing
Light through the leaves
Painting them green
Early morning beauty
Enchants me
Divisive, just like in the sad past
Ethnicity, yet again is his mast
Mouth sweetening for more votes to cast
Assuring in words to flabbergast
Glories used, which ended in a blast
Only to capture their poor hearts fast
God, always mentioned from first to last
Underneath his mind, money is vast
End please, the mandate for this outcast
white roses (flora Queen), white berries, white teeth, snowy snow the earth, cloudy heavenly clothing, nature attires at pinnacle doves pick white berries sweetening
Purity is heavenly front line row, trumpet call
Heavenly robes descending
Angels singing rejoicing
Heavenly bell ringing
White throne judging
Judgment calling
Saints homing
Better days
Ahead

With silver gleams
and golden beams
God gives us hope
with each new dawn
while birds flute
their nesting songs,
leaves bowing
to greening lawns
bees, buzzing and strumming blades,
attracted by blossoms sweetening
wilder glades...
Spring, a season of new life;
lifting dim hearts out of darkness
and strife--
Father, forgive us,
your children,
who foolishly stray--
hear us, our choir
of repenting voices,
humbly we pray.
honeyed flavor drips
on watermelon’s core, pink
flesh sweetening mouths
…a zing like nectar's fragrance
to thrill when popped rind gushes
breaths taste moist syrup
earthy aphrodisiac
when melon lips grind,
… as he sinks his teeth in mine
nibbling juicy midnight love !

Sweet or Salty Contest of Andrea Dietrich
I'm just talking as if I don't know
how to put the weight of mistakes
on the scale anymore
a kind of beneficial oblivion
capable of sweetening the sourness of mistakes
maybe I found the right way
to lovingly tamper with disappointment
decreasing the violence of his damage
and bringing it to a comfortable size
so that it fits in my jeans pocket
and allows me to parade one more time like this:
the washed face of one
who blindly trusts the very lie of his redemption
