Wet Lips

The raindrops fall, as if with purpose,
teaming with others in their meandering,
    and then frantic descent ~
their petrichor sweetening the ozone
like God's earthly fondue...
While indescript perfection lingers,
and daydreams are lost in the essence.

As, a single drop drips from my brow
~ I watch it slowly fall to your lips...
