As We Live Our Lives

Disparities in pieces
    mistakes and successes to paste
        shards of life to reassemble
        constantly mending
        without ever stopping

Premium Member Death sometimes appears that way

Success

is what is sought

on every corner

and a series of

cornered successes

justifies life as it is~

death sometimes

appears that way~~

Not knowing

Is the seeming

Engine behind

Science and any

Getting ahead..

Yet the engine

And successes

Are appearances of

Not knowing...

A Peep Into the Future

How bright the morrow is
beaming with lights of hope.
The worries of today stay with today.
Tomorrow is new and fresh
like a day old babe.
Glowing with glory
that set on wheels
the successes of the future.

Premium Member A Gift From Heaven

    Wavering evanescent,

  Olden moonlit pearls, woven

    Golden tresses, successes,

  Fleeting across wry sky,

    Into undraped landscape

In gay favor, their final stay.

I'M a Tree

I’m a tree
That stands tall
Focus on every curb
Of my body
 My curbs tells
The story of
My ups and downs
My successes and
All my failures that
Helps my branches
To grow and to stretch out
I’m that tree

Premium Member A Dirty Old Man

A dirty old man
Some call me wrongly because
I am still breathing

A dirty old man
I will be until the day
They lower me down

A dirty old man
Jealous of my successes
Have no humor left

A dirty old man
What could anyone think of
At sixty-nine?

Progress In His Name

I
On waking, I'm thankful for dangers we triumphed over -- daily traps and miracle escapes

II
I thank my LORD, for a few insults and surprise compliments from known quarters

III
Small successes are important; meditation on these keeps all fatigue at bay (hallelujah, PTL)

Patience

Patience
Is like science
It takes a lot of research
Long time to relax
Lots of experiments
Little sentiments
Passes through processes
Which later become successes
Produce results
That earns you peanuts
And helps you pass through life stages
Than a few
Who are hard to please.

Faith

Expects the best. Believes…Waits patiently…Trusts in God.
Acts as if it’s done…Is optimistic…Recounts past successes.
Speaks positive things. Does not get easily discouraged.
Stands on God’s promises. Preaches to others to believe.
Is an example… Pays off… WORKS.
Without works…… is DEAD!!!!!

Disappointment

Broken dreams and shattered hopes,
Only the beginning.
Daily they build and always will.
Some say it's because I want too much.
That may be true
Or it may simply be I do not understand
How to strive for what I dream.
Either way in the end
They will be outdone
By the successes of tomorrow.

Work To Improve Yourself

One way to improve yourself is to work
If you want a better life for yourself,
Start working hard, as soon as possible
Not everything will work out at first,
But there's nothing to worry about
The main thing is not to give up
Of course, successes make us richer,
But thanks to failures, we grow.

Purgatory

As I left the arena of life,
I gave my best shot.
But grades of war is not about effort,
But the final result.
I came with questions,
I have some successes,
Some failures.
Now the only question is
How I look on the history books
Do I look like a champion of heroes
Or a joker in the gallery of fools?
