Premium Member A Hot Chicken Sandwich
An old saying, “truth is stranger than fiction” Is a lot more truthful than the word of a chicken They don't trust humans The bond loosens When they're turned into a hot chicken sandwich

Orange Blossoms
after the firestorm
when the earth shakes her fury
the time of rainbows.....

her devastation
but a path
to what cannot pass away
the spirit that thrives
inside orange blossoms
that roar and howl
with flesh

stranger than fiction
stronger than chains
imprisoning
then linking us to earth,

a flash,
here then gone....

Form: I do not know?
Why
Why? Why do I write?
It's something I feel compelled to do.
It's like the pen controls me.
You don't believe it. Why? It's true.
It's stranger than fiction,
the thoughts and ideas,
that race fast through my mind,
like a child from it's fears.
Out here voicing these emotions,
for everybody who feels the connection to.
Speaking, in a special way.
Why? I hope this also touches you!...

Premium Member It S Not Rocket Science
Cup of Joe
Cut to the chase
Between a rock
And a hard place
Back to square one
Piece of cake
Dime a dozen
Truth is stranger than fiction

Cold turkey
Down and out
Down for the count
Down to Earth
Drawing a blank
Easy as pie
Eat my hat
Go for broke
Truth is stranger than fiction

Hands down
Happy as a clam
Hard pill to swallow
High and dry
Head over heels
Toe to toe

Truth is stranger than fiction....

Right half male, left, female, as Shiva and Shakti together; our twin flames so unite, which evolved yogis so feel. Fact stranger than fiction no doubt, we do know someone, who feels as such. Ardhnarishwar, affirmed in scriptures, is mostly taken as folklore, dismissed by logical mind as a mere fairy tale, till we encounter, such a being, right in front of our eyes! 26-October-2021

Strange Like Friends
To be a stranger to another's soul
but deep inside you somehow know
All their trouble all their pain
All their fears, dance in rain.
Looks in eyes
the meaning in them
What it means, that side ways grin.
Or the way you bite you lip, i do the same
When I'm stressed not feeling my game.
That little nod that voice so deep
The sound that makes me peaceful sleep.

Stranger than fiction some might say
I agree, it's more intimate that way....

Stranger To Fiction
A stranger to my apathy--
I don't know what to do
For, deep inside, I am not free:
I yearn to be like you

I don't know what I'm doing, Love
I send my heart below
When Push Becomes A Violent Shove
There's nothing left to show

For, I'm aware of what I feel:
Still foreign to my peer
Yet, I am blind to what is real:
To Lie is my career

I sleep in ambiguity
Then live unlike the rest
For, deep inside, I am not free
And, all untruth is dressed......

Premium Member Decision To Fly
It has been a long time.
Summer of sixty-nine.
Dad, Uncle Don, and I
Their decision to fly.
Wires, you control type.
I ran and walked inside.
For Pepsi cold as ice.
Was there under five.
Had just arrived.
He hit a high-tension line.
The mega-volt kind.
The arcs flashed, pure white.
Blinding light, ten feet high.
As we knelt by his side
tears welled, began to cry.
It has been a long time.
My Dad survived.
Etched forever in mind.

Truth is stranger than Fiction....
