Premium Member Feeling Helpless

My wife has become an insomniac, during ebon hours she doesn’t sleep. Like an owl she’s become nocturnal, I wish again she was counting sheep. But dementia does this to a person, God put us together, she’s in my keep. All of my days start off the same, and most days, when alone, I weep.

Math Is

Math is
A love/hate relationship

We
Start off good
We
Hold hands
We
Make eyes
Pass love notes
Easy

We vow
Faithfulness
Promise
I will stay
This time

We
Argue
He
Betrays
I
Cheat
We
Try again
Make it
Work
For now

We never
Last
Math is
A one-night stand
A bad idea
An abuser

Need to
Quit math
Time to
Let go

Abundantly Believe Trump

Abundantly Believe Trump

Trump as usual looks like a loser;
Been both complainer and confuser;
Always forgetting;
Others upsetting;
Abundantly believe he is a body abuser.

Now there is quite a poem and I did
say so myself.

Morning In the Conway House

I roll over exhausted and hit the snooze,
This early morning wake up is giving me the blues;

I crawl out of bed more tired than I got in,
Til my son gives me his good morning grin;

I’m up and at ‘em, showered and clean,
And we walk out the door at 7:15;

Off to work, too bad it’s not play,
That’s how I start off my busy, busy day!

Life

Life is so much like a flower. You start off as a little bud and continue to grow and grow until you are a full grown flower with all of its perfect little petals. But then one after another of the pretty little perfect petals continuously wilt and fall off because of how much pain you’ve suffered in your life. And eventually you’ve gon and turned into dust to be forgotten.

Premium Member Say a Prayer

A life can start off wonderful,
Then suddenly it can change,
From a life so sweet and wonderful
To a nightmare full of pain.
But if this should ever happen,
You know what you should do.
Just say a prayer to God up there,
He will change it back for you.
It may take time to happen
But he's listening to your prayers.
So don't give in,to a life so grim,
Remember that he cares!

Premium Member Migrating Monarchs

Monarch Butterflies start off as a
cocoon, then they come out into
 beautiful butterflies. The
Lovely monarchs started
 migrating, then one
nice bright day, they
disappeared
Now they're
gone.
On
 cold
Sunny day,
the beautiful
Monarch Butterflies
Came back from migrating,
oh, what a beautiful sight
To see clusters of monarch
butterflies hanging like silk from trees.

Where Did It All Go

Where did it all go
like a two hour movie show
it just goes by so fast
start off as a baby
then a boy
pretty soon you're a man
is that the master plan
five then ten
days go by so fast
future then is now the past
why can't it just last
a few more moments longer
but no, like a flash
it's over
there's things that I wish
I could have done
but that time has gone
can't go back
the reality I know
where did it all go

Not Alone

I know your sad , I know your alone...
I rack my brain to change your tone...
I guess I'll pull up a chair next to your soul...
My page will start off blank till this poem is told...
I will dip my pen in the warmth of your heart...
Then dot the verses with a darker shade that's apart...
When all is complete and the form is intact...
My voice will echo through where a smile has lacked...

Harmattan

HARMATTAN.

The early morning breeze,
That makes us freeze,
On our bed covered with blankets,
As if we lay inside a casket,
Putting on stockings that are anklets,
Being reluctant to wake up,
And not considering to dress up,
For the day to start off.

Wet garments easily dehydrated,
As if it was stiffened,
Glasses covered with dust,
Wind raising dust,
As strong as elephant tusk,
Fires warming in the dusk,
Ignited by the dry coconut husk.

The pot

Life as a whole can be so tragic,
And never will you witness magic,
Emotions change in a blink of an eye,
You start off happy and end with a cry,
Loss of my loved one this emotion was new,
Like it's tipped in a pot stirred up like a stew,
Then it's poured in a bowl picked up with a spoon,
It's what you would taste,
The worst you'd assume,
The more that you take,
And the bigger the portions,
From the pot that now feeds you,
The new mix of Emotions.

Love of Art

Love of Art

You pick up your pencil
Start off with a dot.
Who knows where you'll go
From that small little spot.

Maybe a tall mountain?
Or a tiny fish in the sea?
A scenery of beauty ?
Or a funny looking tree?

Perhaps a little doodle
That makes no sense at all?
What about a great big ship
Shooting a cannonball?

There are no rights and wrongs
When it comes to the love of art.
Let it come through your emotions
Let it come straight from your heart.

Passing Season

Passing Season

Everything's going to be okay
Anything is possible with a new day
Start off each morning with a goal
It will soon start to heal your soul
On yourelf...try not to be so hard
Everyone's heart at some point breaks into shards
In time you will heal
Yes its real pain at the time you feel
Everything happens for a reason
You will be better with each passing season
God is also there to hold your hand
With you..he will always understand

Tsunami Waves

It comes in waves,
they start off small but end up big.
Waves of emotions drowning her,
she can't seem to keep her head above.
Trying to catch these waves of emotions,
that seem to be drowning her.
She can't swim,
her body knows that.
The fear of her last breath will be her last thought.
Waves of emotions are spiraling out of control.
pretty soon,
These deadly waves of emotions,
will turn into a Tsunami.
Killing all with in its path,
killing her very existence as well.
