The Coming Spring (Tanka)

Spring is in the air
Robin sings by my window
Snow melts to puddles
Red tulip buds crest the earth
Blooming with my smiling soul

Always like the word spring, I think spring is a sign of new, fresh life. This poem portray what spring really is. Thanks also for your encouragements. Abe

Hey to you, Joseph! You are sorely missed by many, for sure. I love this piece, yes, I do believe you have a "smiling soul". :) I hope you're having a wonderful summer. Those red tulips have surely bowed their heads to this season, but like you, they are never forgotten. This is a light and breezy 'pick me up', you're very good with that sort of thing, through your work and comments. I wish you and yours the best! God bless...love you, Mikki
