The Pop-Star Plumber
Have you seen the part time plumber?
He plumbs in winter and a pop-star in summer
During a plumbing job, he will thrust out his spanner
Singing into it “Copacabana”...

Premium Member She Dumped the Plumber
There was an accomplished agile plumber,
he could screw nut in bolt in deep slumber.
Wife felt his spanner placed right,
drove her sleep away each night.
She dumped him, reason he didn’t remember.

Plug a Poem In the Socket
I'm a planner I'm a scanner I'm a time warp spanner
and you better get outta my way
I can rap with the babies and the Baby Boom ladies
and I really got somethin to say

I been lovin ,I been fightin, I been rainbow writin
and I got it all on the line
plug a poem in the socket ,if you really
wanna rock it
it'll always come out in the rhyme...

A Spanner In the Works
A spanner in the works

I have dislike of all royalty who stole the people's land
Their acolytes were given titles to ensure their loyalty.
Privileged aristocracy, the guardian of transformation
Modern days robber baron is a continuum to be sure
The people walk alongside gilded horse-drawn carriages
Cap-in-hand, wave flags and accept their lowly life....

THE MONKEY'S NUTS

Some darn monkey has just thrown a spanner in the works
It’s loving its stance, "cause it think the rest of us are jerks

We should have told it, what comes around, comes around
Everything you do in this life, will in return, on you resound

The darn monkey did not give a banana, to it all but a game
So: when it slipped up on the banana skin O’ what a shame

Premium Member The Right Tool For the Job
If I have a job to do I find a useful tool
For screwing in a screw I use a screwdriver
For banging in a nail I need a hammer
When I need something really hot I use a soldering Iron
When I want to remove wallpaper I use a stripper
If my tap is stuck and needs turning on I use a spanner
If I want to see sparks fly I use an electric screwdriver
If I want affection I head for my husband ….
He’s bound to have the right tool for the job

Premium Member Follow the Fire
Harken! blasts of thunder
pressurised magma sears
Pyroclastic hearts collapse
a spanner jams the gears

Distended fiery fissures
augur unquantified fears
Cataclysms bring rupture
down path’s not very clear

Aneurysms bursting veins
popped drums burning ears
Brain function touch and go
haemorrhage out red tears

Earth ripping itself asunder
black raw ground appears
Man plugs his inner wounds
holding on to love so dear
