Idleness

What hardship
Is joblessness?
Soul searching endlessly
Roving depth in height
Beasting and feasting
On treacherous quagmire

A Writer's True Tale

Within every writer's soul is an untold role, rolling along the shadows, secretly, desperately seeking the glow above the darkness that gave it life in the first place

Guiding Angels

When I was lost,
God’s angels showed me the way home.
When I was lost,
My soul searching all paths that crossed.
No answers in the ancient tome.
All paths had led my life to roam,
When I was lost.

Trump Needs Nutrition

Trump Needs Nutrition

We know what Trump needs is nutrition,
For all his attention as well as ambition;
Dumbness detection,
And mirror reflection;
In addition soul searching and suspicion.

My Mythology

What is in a name.
Its all a game of lies & truth ,
Happiness & sadness ,
Goodness & badness.
The aim of learning is just earning.
In a desire every being is burning.
To wake up every day and do a soul searching.

Open Windows

Blindly, she does not know.
Feelings has been stomped then grown.
Soul searching - open widows.

Trance, now so confused.
Time has not fixed but now has used.

Lost everything precious.
In my world of greatest affection.

Soul Searching

A wooden piece of a frame.
A journey has been forgotten.
A day that tested our heart.
It is working fine I’ve checked it.
Toy’s that we played.
A destination that should be remembered.
A spirited soul lurking near us.
It is here I’m sure it is.

DIVORCE

During one’s own lifetime
Inexplicable events do occur
Verily, heart-wrenching and mind- boggling
Ominous, and often soul-searching,
Rarely one can endure or cope with,
Consciously but one must come to accept,
Each man to his own fate is destined!

Four Lines

If only i could say in four dramatic lines words not out of joint
filled with all those soul searching dreams and hopes that ramble in my head
four lines that could be quick and short and sharply reaching point
but alas, I laid down my pad and pen instead.

Soul Searching By: Tom Wright 12/01/2006 Sometimes when I’m feeling that things are amiss And In thought I’m prone to question Lord, why? Do you allow a disruption at Church such as this? Then I’m forced to consider whether the problem is I!

August

After much brain racking and soul searching
Undulating feeling of anxiety and hysteria
Gathering my wits about me
Unbeknownst to my angels and demons
Summarize I did your idea of August…
Taunting us but with such an august month!

Half and Half

Is this another metaphor of my half love

Looking at the hourglass never took this long

All the times are ticking, all, even the biological clock

Is this another soul searching journey

Looking at my life with a telescope, just another half lie

Questions that lingers on, gripping like a leech, halfway to my sleep

Soul Searching

There is the light in your soul
Something deep, deep inside
That you want to hide
Because its your precious guide

People are curious and cruel
They want to reveal
The treasure they will steal
And you will never heal

The part of you will be gone
You will never be whole
If you let them unroll
The valuable secrets of your soul

Shortcomings

In that moonlit night,
A nude picture hangout bares
My bemoaning eyes,
Showing raindrops.
Soul searching eyes,
Picking flowers and drinking wines
Haunt me in the valleys of dreams,
Images that last forever.
Ripples of beer in thin air,
I squandered my time.
Ever the same,
In that blue horizon
I'll search and wait.
