Premium Member Dogs Picture Prompt

Come on guys I really need to go.
My inside are about to blow,
This line is way too long,
No time to sing a song.
I am filled with messy cargo.

dance and song all day long still for moments then roaming blooms and fuchsia midnight rooms restless rapt wind rousing all to tango in orange mists of dawn or scarlet dusk

Premium Member Bone Song

A gentle breeze carried the tune
of a lady gone too soon.
I listened to it longingly until,
inside my bones, it caused a chill;
and then blew my dreams through other bones,
across centuries of dulcet tones.

Losing Ground

My mind is lost wandering around,
Trying to see a sight or hear a sound,
Which may never happen again,
Because the last thing I know how to do is work this pen,
And losing this would be the end,
For me and my only friend.

Who Is Time?

Time, time, time knocks.

Time, time, time – stops all voices.

Time is against me, and you, –

It runs forward, and loves no one.

«Time cures us». – Who is it? The doctor?

Or, in a white dressing gown, the executioner?

Counting Sheep; Cayda's Lullaby

It's time for you to go to sleep,
So close your eyes and count some sheep.
1, 2, 3, 4, it's time to lay down and play no more.
5, 6, 7, 8, go to bed it's getting late.
The stars are in the sky above,
Now go to sleep my little love.

To Dan Fogelberg

Where do you go
at the end of your dreams
Where do you go
when the daylight moves on

Where do you go
once your voice has run dry
Where do you go
—when tomorrow is gone

The Clock

While I was writing this poem for you,
Something was ticking but I never knew,
then I stopped and heard a "ding",
And all of a sudden,
I started to sing,
Then i knew just what to write,
So I wrote about a clock,
Ticking through the night.

It's Time

It's time for a new beginning. Time for us to stop pretending. For all we have is
each other. So le's just love one another. It's time to live ,not time to die. It's time
to laugh ,no time to cry. All we have is each other. So let's just love one another.

The early bird's gone,
T. Rex was his name,
Ancestor of birds,
Of all hues and songs,
Quaint to imagine!

Hummingbirds gay,
Lost in the blooms,
Chatting macaws,
And wise old owls.

The pride of,
Yesterday,
Beauty lives,

In trees,
So green,

Now.

Don'T Close the Door Yet

the time wont wait

it moves as we move

the time never stops

but i havent got enough of you

so please stay a while
dont close that door yet

please make that smile
i dont wanna leave you in regret

the time wont wait
passing moments
are precious to me

please stay for a while

The Things You Ask of Me

Like childhood friends
Remember me
The times were but good
A domain of innocence
Grant me peace
A haven we can each see
Join me, feast
The inquiry's of this
Untainted beast
A single forfeited lease
I beg of you
To see forth fit
Endeavored we be
But as grown men are haunted
We’ll play for keeps

Spring Interlude

A breath
Of fresh air
It’s there
Can you feel it?
Resting
Amongst the atmosphere
A breath
Of fresh air
I will still provide
The sadness in tunes
The gloominess
Of days to come
But as of now
I’ll give you
A breath
Of fresh air
Liveliness
Amongst the atmosphere
Can you feel it?
It’s there

Time... Let it roll on, take its toll on
Life... Let it go on, keep the show on
Song... Let it croon on, put the tune on
Dance... Let it groove on, sway and move on
Game... Let it play on, run and stay on
Pen... Let it write on, spread the light on

Love Is A Bird

(Entered for Contest: "Take Me To Where Love Learns No More". Sponsor: Justin Bordner. Deadline: 4/4/2025.)

Love can be hard
Love can be kind
Love can be kind of hard to find

Love could be yours
Love could be mine
Love could be time at yours or mine

Love is a bird
Love is a song
Love is a bird with a word and a song.

Youth Must Be Lived

How true is the saying that youth is eternal and glorious only for some,
when hearts are free of worries, they know nothing of human pain;
fantasy suddenly begins and dusk that brings night delays to come...
and as wild and incredible it might seem, it always recalls home!
Youth must be lived, not wasted, but be reveled in happy refrain.

The Reason

When I am lost
When I am weak
When my feet refuse to move

You are the One who covers my fears
You are the One who dries my tears
You are the One who lifts me up

So every time my song is sung
And every time my name is praised
Every time a battle’s won

You are the Song they sing
You are the One that’s praised
You are the Hero sung

The Song We Once Knew

It is a song
that we grew up with

A song which contains
our hopes, joys and fears

But the mists of time
obscured our sight, our sensitivity

The mists of time
began to block the flow of chi

But we persevered
Once again our song shall be sung

Over the land
A bird wings its way home

And we watch
enchanted by the sight

Red Light Stop!

Red light stop
I'm going to fast
Sitting on top of
The World today

Moving around
North to west
Gots to Gots to
find some time rest

Big man calling
For a resolution
I just can't hide
Their so hard to please

Its about time
I finally get mine
You know it's
Suddenly do

No control
Spiriling down
into the dark
i find life

As If You Are Nothing But Good

Little, little riverside stream
You water my dreams

Giving fresh flower in the Spring
All that new life your help brings
Flowing on through Summer
Carrying gold for our rings

Catching fallen leaves in Autumn
Many colors you now carry
Freeze you won't in the chill of Winter
Changing you of this I won't worry

My Reply - Make Their Jaws Drop Contest

This dance says it all, hatred and anger,
Because Every Breath You Take I’ll stare,
I’ll sing it while i dance so you remember,
That before you sexually abuse, you tare.

Tare into yourself if you have to, go on,
Accept humiliation privately or else suffer,
Derision publicly with glares from everyone,
Who put me up somewhat with their confer.

Kiss

Swimming deep in the ease inside my bed-
I sift through dreams that drift inside my head-
And kiss the storm that's deep inside my core-
where dancing in the rain is not a metaphor.

Slept through love, and slept through it's collage-
turns out what was real, was a mirage-
And kiss the pain that's deep inside my core-
because where there was a Miss, there is no more.
