A gentle breeze carried the tune of a lady gone too soon. I listened to it longingly until, inside my bones, it caused a chill; and then blew my dreams through other bones, across centuries of dulcet tones.

Hmm. It can't be coincidence that I'm reading this poem two days after the death of a mid-90's 'iron lady' named Ruth Teren, with whose sons, Larry and Moshe, I have been friends for decades.
