Dottie Thrush
A song thrush am I
Dottie is my name
Play with me a game
One that's called I-Spy

In the garden
Something I spy
With my little eye
Beginning with
The letter ‘S’
Can anybody guess?

There are no replies
None to play her game
Always it’s the same
One thing Dottie spies

Nobody knows!
Nobody guessed!
Dottie is the best!
In the garden
A snail I spy
With my little eye!...

Austrian Mountain Range
Thunder clouds roll back, rain does succomb
shepheards emerge their flock
sunrays, brightens the horizon
mountain range, as far as the eye can see

The far distance , a sand block castle
the fore ground a humble village
goats lapping the bulging lake
sparrows emerging with song thrush

As children run playfully from their home
pointing to the sky, rainbow a picture
two lovers take to the lake, she seated
he stood, poll rowing....

FOR(FOUR)BEAUTIFUL BIRDS

watching close from afar, the thieving magpie

cock robin,here all year around
awakens up our morn
with a territorial sound-
defends his corner before dawn
from trespass upon his new born

the gifted song-thrush
melodious,loud and clear
in my heart held dear-
'did he do it,judy did'
rings out on high, far and near.

o'er robin,song thrush and magpie,
the red kite soars, so lonely on high

Beside the Stream
Close your eyes, I'll take you down a country lane
Leading to a stream where crystal waters flow.
Can you hear the song thrush sing his sweet refrain?
Do you feel the golden sunshine's warming glow?
Often in my childhood years I would remain
Carpeted by lush and verdant grass below.
Tranquil sounds of summer sweeping over me,
Colourful imagination running free.
