Blue sky seagull chirp,
pealing  plaintive strain oe’r tides,
weeping waters rush

Cherry dew song thrush,
weaves mirthful mist from spruce tree,
off-key forest fall

I felt it as i read " weeping waters rush" and also how youv written "weaves mirthful mist from spruce tree" the vividness of imagery youv painted so smoothly left me in awe, seeing through your haiku! Absolutely loved reading this dear Howard, sending you light always ~

I love the call of seagulls. Such a graceful bird. I am not seen a thrush that I know about. I looked up American Thrush and yes I have seen them or at least some of them as bluebirds and robins are of the thrush family. I enjoyed reading this one, Howard. Way to go. Sara K.
