The Solvency of Silence
between the pages of a rural world there is always us clambering for attention with hands mouth and noise gesticulating like a proud Italian, we run for every bus selling goods with salesmen talk and we never poise nor give a chance to silence, God forbid we should... I was solvent.

Let government start taxing sin,
a practice everyone engages in;
that, effectively, should end one day
the need for further taxes, they say.
What a windfall that should be
with huge benefits immediately!
Sinners see such a tax as bankruptcy
money lovers an end to their solvency....
