The Time Is Now

Color, Gender, Sexual Orientation
The Machine, Corruption, Racial Discrimination
  There the spotlight shone brightly in Chicago's mayoral election
  But campaign over, winner declared -- Let's move the city in a new direction

One of pension funds solvency, of lower taxes and reduced expenses
To accomplish that requires political moxie, mending fences
  Can Mayor Lightfoot do it?  Will she? How?
  It's time to act boldly, Lori, and the time is now

Gershon Wolf April 4, 2019 at 10:38 AM You may be afraid, but I'm CONFIDENT that corrupt Chicago will never change. (Ha, ha). he reformers are usually worse than the establishment they replace!... The last Mayor Daley started out as a gung-ho reformed, and ended up knee-deep in rotten, filthy scams (such as the $75 million parking meter deal). ~ Gershon
