A Blissful Torment
A blissful torment of stagnant virtues solidifies the unity incomplete.
Revolution looms in the hearts of millions. Undesirable uproar invoking insidious
apocalypse extrude the synthetic lapse of cognition, society’s true poison....

Only God Always Knows the Right Things To Say
Lifts up the soul
Voices unspoken feeling
Solidifies and fills the hole
Gives one a sense of being

Assists in carrying the load
We're too tired to take on.
Gives a humble abode-
A pillow to rest upon.

Mends a broken heart
Provides for those in need
In all this you can take part,
If His counsel you heed....

Mi Casa
Home is no longer home Yet a hollow shell of things once remembered Each journey solidifies an aching truth I am changed? Unable to relate to the world which raised me Our ideals have slipped below the ever changing tides On calm days I get a glimpse of what could be But today is a sad truth I have changed! Home is no longer home

Sitting In the Sun
I awaken to sunbeams
pushing back the night;
the day solidifies
before my eyes,
ignoring the ticking clock

ghosts squeak their disapproval
in faded floorboards,
paintings sharpen,
and graceful cats
pace in the hallway

stained glass accepts the light,
and colors crawl along the wall;
we all shine,
perhaps reluctantly,
sitting in the sun...

Premium Member As I Slumber
my dendrite highway glides into spiritual realms
unbidden, unhurried, unsanctified by conscious me
meditative unawareness solidifies into dreams of the dead
bioluminescent shapes and songs form enticing my psyche
I slumber blissfully unaware and yet here is piece of me
The piece I am not in touch with during the daylight hours,
constructing, creating, and misconstruing my next day...

A Soul'D Road
The soul solidifies what's felt inside the heart
The mind is but a mechanism to our world's apart
A choice, an affirmation consumes the hunger's lust
A questions or an answer - if left
will start to rust
It feeds on all emotions - growing like the wind
It can either be your friend or turn into a fiend
What choices to make on which dirt road to take
It is all imagery, an illusion, a fake
or is it our reality - a battle for our soul's sake?...

Sleep
Goodnight, my whistle whispers
 muffled by squeals and clanks,
the freights' heavy weight cradles the breath I take.
Exhales through chilled wind churn coldness steel,
solidifies my being real,
through every jolt shakes every bolt, a thrash, clash, pulsing bit,
steal me up a comfort ladder, with dirt upon its' grip.
As southern evening falls, does burning spark of metal wheels in the dark,
miles before the port breaks clear
before I hop off to see you near....
