Stammer -Sf
The pulse races,
the mind falters,
the tongue stumbles,
the speech a-jumble.

My wretched stammer
leaves aspirations in tatters.
My heart broken
by the words unspoken....

Freedom Sf
Succintly free
Filling us daily with hope
Rewiring our brains
Engulfing hearing,tasting and smelling
Enriching the visual field
Driving our thoughts
Overpowering life’s pores
Maneuvering odysseys...

Another Blue Sky---Sf

Restless,
wanting.
Sitting on a precipice.
Squirming on the brink of discovery.
Wishing to leap,
float into unseen possibilities.
Wanting to embrace a new reality!
Why am I unable to trust?
Leaning on my fear.
So afraid,
You will let me fall.

SF rules
Yes, Science Fiction rules,
Predicting our futures,
Viral phobias flooding,
Survival of our immunes,
Building vertical holds sway,
Hi-rise farms beyond,
Atmosphere blown afar,
Surrogate wombs,
Artificial recycling,
Afterbirth of our tribe,
Robotic thought police,
Digital implants, no brains,
Real time, or not,
Are we there yet?...

It waits on the wedge of a field
no longer lonely, another
floats in for a landing above
 a sea of yellow flowers

Who will forget that wonderful fuss,
the mock scolding of an absence
now being celebrated
The preaching by a full range of
vocals - wing tips folding and unfolding
against a new, and thinking sky

Ode To S.F. - 1964
I miss the mist
that kissed my face.
I miss the joy
of hills that race
to catch the bay.

I miss the life
the Monk tones,
the cable car bell,
the foghorn groans
that filled the bay.

I miss the Coit
and the Golden Gate
the parks with
views so great
of the endless bay.

I left my love
my life, my soul
in the city so warm
in a life gone cold
by the beautiful bay....

~Blooming Tale~

In limbo, we crawl on walls
Stare into a world behind curtains
Puzzled by the ends of -October dreams
A fight to scream, no one remembers
Once December is gone

Dark illuminating stars
Will carve magic notes on trees
January comes to life!
Ones the old resolutions end

Mortal mountains ready To Bloom
Taking from the clouds of yesterday
Surrender to the ascending view
Never to gloom again........
The winds of a thousand words form a new scent
A Flower-
-A new year begins...
