On a sunny clear day,
September 11th came our way.
The planes fell from the sky,
it brought tears to our eyes.
Fathers, Mothers, daughters, sons,
it changed life for everyone.
So bow your heads down and pray,
ask God to show us the way.
For peace and our country we pray,
that there will be a brighter day.

Its rubble and debris
I, for the mom who late at night
Once rocked me on her knee
