Shabbat Approaching
The years have not always treated us well 
We have taken a pounding from Anti Semites 
And enemies of various backgrounds
But I feel a sense of peace as Shabbat approaches 
Never used to go 
Always went out on Friday night 
But the singing and the music drew me back 
Now I get up and dance at services 
Pretty damn joyous!
