something secures my gaze,
spectacular it seems,
significant somehow.
Studying the scene, I

Clouds cascade this misty view
Hovering down low
Circular shape so divine
Serenity clasps our heart

People now walk up to copper,
Where Gold isn't for the hoper
And silver starves seekers proper:
Every single eager shopper...
Then go for the waiting copper,
Gold bound to be a Heart Stopper;
From behind bullets The Dropper
Your shooter off with his chopper.
Also, with your Gold - Changed Pauper;
You as dead as the grasshopper
That manure secures for a cropper...
Only go for precious Gold,
When it isn't hot to hold
All hallows eve night
Just one scary night in fall
Bats bit my isthmus
I changed my figure
Wearing black cape with shadows
Two fangs from my jowls
This tale of that night

Only at night I sojourn
Seeking blood delight
This Halloween time
I seek more than blood request

Fog rests on the city,
like a cold sweaty hand,
hiding intent, as yet unclear,
aloft look down and pity.
Urban mesh, wet and cold,
conceals in dim places,
it’s secrets, entombed in the night,
stories as yet untold.
Metropolitan petri dish,
cultured over millennium,
wood, stone,concrete, glass,
armour plating natures wish.
Aloft look down and pity,
history secures continuum,
until one story yet untold,
nature reclaims the city.

Josiah conquers revisionists
by stating an old-world axiom:
“When seeking structure,
one must be mindful of decay.”
He taps a rusted column with
an ordinary wooden cane,
releasing decades of oxidation
in particulate dust.
As his nephew secures the wire
on the final shape-charge
a tear wells with nostalgia
and sympathy for the hobbled
until the flurry of blasts
at zero.
R-eigning queen in victory
E-legantly sits on her throne;
Y-earning to raise her hand,
N-ineteenth September morn.
A-scendancy of the queen
L-ets her make so popular;
I-n control of the kingdom,
N-ight enjoys the shining star.
M-ost influential queen
A-llows her power to rule;
N-o enemy can conquer
A-nd neither one can fool.
L-eading all her people secures the whole monarchy;
O-n guard at all times is the reigning queen in victory.
