Christ's Second Coming - A Fourteener
Jesus will come again cause we weren’t ready the first time!

Form:
A figure rises, dispelling gloom
With rhetoric strong, he claims the fight
The second coming, a nation's right

If your lover come for the lust
Let him come tomorrow
If he come tomorrow for the same
just shut the door !
He is a lover after all !
In shadows deep, a figure stirs
A familiar voice, amidst the blurs
Chaos and hope in a dance so bold
The second coming, a story retold

My tomb lies empty through resurrection
Another chance to gain ascension
But what seemed a miracle
Was a curse instead
I discovered the living
Preferred me dead
There will come amid cheers with flag, cup and crown
A white charger bearing the new king to town
Thus begins the dawn of the orange rapture
When the true blues ten in a row will capture
Betwixt these tithes at her antiquities keen asylums; a foretokens child esoteric
Paleolithic etchings; afore their myths the caverns Acheron's absolved; loric tides..
Acute, this illness ironic it's stones ? Theology sects scribes a second coming as time.
Form:
Take place at the end of the world
The second coming of Father Christ
“All who are in the tombs will hear His voice and come forth
Those who have done good, the resurrection of life
Those who have done evil, the resurrection of judgment”
(St. Jn 5:29)

We were all told that this day was coming,
when we'd no longer hear the bees a-humming,
when we could no longer trust that the fields
would ever again produce their requisite yields.
But who had expected it to be this soon
before the promised second coming?
.
I want to be the horse who
Jesus Christ rides
at His
second coming
Carrying Christ
from beginning to end
Through the clouds
to the mountain top
I being first
to hear the echo
of His proclamations
You put your hand on
My navel I felt pleasure
Of second coming
As a jasmine smells at night
To claim his earth his kingdom
For those of us who wait
In steadfast faith sedate
For second coming of Christ
That we too see the light
Shifting towards ethereal
Beholding Gods miracle
This time
The chime
Will be felt
As bliss svelte
Ignition within
Grazing our skin
That we too be
Christlike, as He
21-May-2021
Hills weeping
Streets and sex litter
With echoes of anxieties
As pattering feet taking solace
In their shrines
The second coming...
Oceans of nightmares garrison my iris,
Waiting for his coming,
With a bottle of hallucination,
I saw his coming...
My name is Prophet Harold

can the schitzophrenic serve,
more than masters one,
does he think second coming,
wife is dumb,
when she don't remember the fun,
he had an hour ago,
but was it he?
"or illusionary serpent spree?

The ass on high protein diet
Thinks he can really fight the beast
The beast has lost his instincts and
He is struggling to just live
The genius is being mocked
Mediocrity is being preserved
Monk is yelling abuses
The preacher is moaning in the jail
The poet prophecied of "second coming"
I can just cry for him to arrive
Time means nothing to spirit
a second, eternity, the same
youth, old age, all the same
no particles in God Proper
fluid and eternal --
Unlike the divisions men contrive
imbibing sweets
addicted to juice
discarding blander seeming pulp
Christ awaits amalgamation --
No Second Coming, till the First
purely consummated --
Pop, lock it
Now the door was barred
There was no hope
Their belief far below par
There was no way
His body could be found
The tomb was still
Taken underground
Many had thought
The Chosen had fled
Confused and scared
That's just what they did
The Lord thought
I must see them through
Hence, His second coming..
Thomas' faith was renewed
Chartreuse moss insinuates itself
into cracked brick as leprous eucalyptus
line the path, fallen leaves contorted
into coral spines on weathered terra cotta.
Traveling between the trees I stumble
upon one sinewy stalk in a lithe tuft
heralding the second coming of a lily.
May's slate gray
muffles the air until I hear
the chameleon trill
of a mockingbird.
M...Messiah knew that impostors would occur- -
E...Even to fool the very elect;
S...Some declare Jesus has come in secret,
S...Second coming is as clearly and visibly--`lightning flashes`
I...Indeed Jesus will come in the clouds of heaven;
A...At the last trump- -
H...He comes back again- -and we will meet HIM in the air.

*Dedicated to world adventists
Unseen like the wind
Angels came by
Leaving on every child’s face
A smile
Called in a crisis
They comfort and guide
Life’s boat gently
To harbor
Who is like God?
Warrior St Michael
Fought Lucifer's pride
And won
St Raphael gave Tobias
Wealth and a wife
That filled with joy
His life
Angels to shepherds
Came Christmas night
Will they announce to us
Christ second coming?
Daughters had diverse ideas for sure
They both thought theirs was absolutely pure
One emphatically thought leader was the second coming
Other saw anti-Christ, out-of-control loser who is bumming.
At the end of a particularly unkind day
They both were angry having had their say
Neither speaking now, their divided thinking far apart
This dictator has torn their family and country apart.
Humbly love you;
Yet I haven't shown thee;
So true a love I have for you
This love for you God beautiful;
And if it's the last thing I do;
Before the second coming;
I choose to, acknowledge to you and the world too...
I earnestly, honestly, faithfully, in God
Agape
I love you

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr.2023?
Like a splinter in the brain
It drives you insane
Must wait like the coming of a train
Don't go fast, cause it might past your lane
Maybe I should wait for the second coming
But who knows when that will be?
The arrival of the blessed three
Or maybe I will know when the reaper retrieves me with his scythe
O well I guess I will never know the answer to the greatest question
The meaning of life
Form:
Before morning, there was moaning
Smearing the innocence of the night,
With two bodies entwined,
To cause havoc
Absent conscience,
Absent worries,
No thoughts,
Just sounds,
Gasps,
And then snaps
Coming together in harmony
With shivering waists,
Stiffened necks
Determined legs,
No regards to shame.
The night just couldn’t wait.
For the coming of the morning
Is around the corner,
Too.
