In the rain I see clear...
Through the clouds I can hear...
Behind a wall I can write...
Scribing words in the night...
Moonlight shines on every line...
Sunrise brings the final rhyme...
See the world in my view...
From dreams to words it all grew...
As soon as this latest plague is over
and the riots dampen a bit
the gentle muse can be coaxed from
the leper's mask and rubble,
to pick up the quill and start scribing
about frogs-flowers and fawns
or maybe It'll be inspired by a goose
that offered its feather for the cause.
Rendering rainbows over candy kisses
Above the marvels of a mindless moon
Meandering with fairies and flower wishes
Miming melodies frolicking with a flirting tune
Nimble poets prance scribing wistful words
Courting playful paramours to canoodle and swoon
Entranced in witless wooing, amorously absurd
Poetry community providing

It's 4 a.m.--
A hotel
bible is spreading
the good
news to a local wino,
as dirty children
of intimate strangers
are playing X Box
with addicts.
A young girl
is learning
to inhale up
on the
gravel rooftop,
scribing poetry
on her arm
in the minute
moonlight.
Razor writing
is such
a waste of type O.
Poets poised pens pulsating poetry.
Writing wonderful words with wisdom.
Making muses manipulate marvelous minds.
Setting suitable selected scribing schemes.
Regulating reasonably reliable required rhyme.
Also adding acceptable allocated alliterations.

However haphazard humorous hyperbole happens.
My poetic senses are fertile tonight
The moon resembles jadeite, in hues of pink
Without hesitation, my pen soars in flight
scribing quixotic sonnets in ebon ink
Rhymed verses of amorous trysts in starlight
and two hearts pulsing as one in rhythmic sync
Images I conceive through an artist's eyes
Romance should never be shadowed in disguise

We who can
must write ourselves down,
send our words to no one
and everyone,
be the mailman and the mail box.
Some say little yet know much
but we who chatter, blab
and reveal
we must write upon this shifting sand
for all things will be undone
but not the scribing thoughts
of fools and poets.
Please tell me which are you?
A hard question
for we are most often both,
yet upon a sometime, we are touched
by the lips of God.
During the pre-evening liturgy
Betwixt a shabby stall
Irate I sit scribing seasoned verses
Silent as an infant in production
Whilst the slaughtering of pacifism
Across the universe ‘tis my soundness
Perforated by the eerie current
‘Twas delivered via the vapors of her breath
Curtly, such graphic memories gnaw the very bones
Of what I had thought to be timeless romance
Though once again I’ve been forsaken
To drink all ‘twas left unsaid and unknown
emerging from between the lines
the human being furtively
discovers his inner most thought
otherwise left deeply buried
circumstances designate man
emerging from between the lines
as instead he would be at loss
amongst the lyrical scribing
a purging of thought and feelings
expressed by entwining tendrils
emerging from between the lines
a cleared path towards a moment
of fleeting happiness, the white
to the black of the words written
by a simple man now poet
emerging from between the lines
