Rue
Stands in
Calmly queue
Small yellow buds
Sunbeams have fallen
On green sapphires
Shining bright
Gold spread
View
Though they were so few,
For rest of life I shall rue.
Remembering just
How I matter less each day,
Life sweeps memories away.
change is not stubborn
as is a long-shriveled hand~
c’est la vie bygone
Relatively forgotten herb
Unusual, often painful, sometimes fatal
Exercise caution in its use
monks once used egg whites
to starch their habits crisp clean
dumping yellow yolks ~
but a waste not want not pledge
inspired a baked custard tart
in an act of grace
their heavenly recipe
was kept secret sold
Rue,
With you
My mind is
Filled with worries.
You give me sorrow
Because of my error.
You bring remorse to my heart.
The reason why it is laden.
You have taught me to strongly lament.
You have given me the chance to repent.
With a new shop,Samuel Bing
caused the whole world to sing
of his new shop'La Maison de l'art nouveau-
On display,paintings,sculpture & design
All of the contemporary kind
Tribute to the man from whose shop the term Art Nouveau derives.
I think logic is in his thought and word,
of timeless truths, sometimes unheard,
some day we will see it true,
when revelation comes,
is due,
consternation for not a few,
eternal damnation...
rue,
the Lords incantation...
thank you John Loving...
Don Johnson
She is dark she is pretty
She has an easy grace
When she smiles sky's open
As she walk beauty accentuates
If me alliterates she's beauty me beholds
In her hugs me befoulded as am beffuddles
The in her me spy genna
Me spying beautiful l meadows of genna
When with her me fathom lilting nivarna
Her essence a paradise of carousel emotions
Her name is Rue an enchantress gem is she..
Rue du Petit-Champlain
Street where she could fall in love.
She sat waiting
But it did not happen
The first time
The second time she brought a book
Lots of attention was given to her
Because she acted uninterested
She met a man
And he was wonderful
Rue du Petit-Champlain
The place where it all started
They brought their four children
Who giggled and danced their way
Down the place where it all began.
Viens à Maman,
let me show you how that shameful thing is done,
you konw, with ink on paper,
for you not to be sorry anymore,
in the morning with croissant Triomphe
and floating island by Abyssinian charms.
Fix your shoe laces, suck your belly
and grab me by the aorta.
Let go of me
over Père Malin´s brothel,
for more than three coins.
Eat it all up!
From URBIS (Paralela 45 Publishing House, 2016)
Translated by me.
I remember as a young boy
Sitting on top Mount Parnassus
Consumed in writing I enjoyed.
Mostly poetry to express
At the time my innermost thoughts
While below my childhood playmates
Romped and played and most often fought.
And myself trying to translate
Feelings into coherent thought
And writing them down on paper.
I recollect those times that taught
Self- discipline behavior.
Yet if I lived it all again
I would be one of those children.
