wisdom in the dark
feigned resplendence floundering
vanity flattered!

Man absorbed by the problems his existence presents fails Cosmos' resplendence to see!

The resplendence of thy grace
An immaculate enigma immense
Wonderfully adorned with charm
A perfect blend with looks warm
When you go right -thy bosom
Sways to the left just awesome

You brought me a translucence
of amber for my burnished bouquet.
Love was an ebullience of golden wheat,
our laughter a resplendence of sunflowers.

There was a sunny spot in my eye,
a region of riots and ripples,
a cause for resplendence
in mosaic mysteries
and myriad myths;
Tendrils and creepers,
ivies and myrtles
and an emblazoned bliss…
There was a sunny spot in my eye,
beyond the honeydews,
the hills and the hedges,
that nestled the we;
the you and the me…

Stealing your thoughts
a crime of dispassion
the penalty fatal
my name stays unknown
A larcenous caper
whose felony looming
authorities chasing
though lost will they roam
Returning your musings
a word to each notion
attached and delivered
through eyes that retake
Enlightened resplendence
unfenced by Jehovah
no borrowers promise
— this thief ever makes

The nighttime air baptized the earth
with a fresh, clean renewing dew
admitting the seasons rebirth
bidding ‘old man winter’ adieu.
The sun emerges warm and immense
casting a golden illumine
adorning springtime’s resplendence:
yellow daffodils flowering
in meadows and dandelions’
their tiny sunburst dewy globes
drizzled about in disunion;
each claiming its own abode
amidst ground ivy and clover
nurtured by a gentle zephyr.

Verse
Snowflakes falling,
gently landing- draping
bare, outstretched
tree branches awaiting
scintillating, flocculent,
white ermine boas.
Exquisite silhouettes
against winter's sky-
glistening beneath
full moon resplendence.

Imagism
As brief as summer you swept
across my heart's desert
like a Santa Ana wind's hot caress.
Now the eastern passes
are still as virgin rocks
unto a land whispering
of forgotten wildflowers.
In your absence marigolds bloom not
with the disappeared mockingbird.
Only as the last petals
of amaryllis wither do I ache.
You brought me a translucence
of amber for my burnished bouquet.
Love was an ebullience of golden wheat,
our laughter a resplendence of sunflowers.

I grew a rose
The reddest rose
Of any rose that grows
The sweetest scent
Magnificent
Resplendence for the nose
Irrefutable
How beautiful
None would dare oppose
So delicate
And elegant
I wonder if it knows
But it adorns
The sharpest thorns
For those who would impose
A little prick
Will do the trick
To leave it in repose
For in as much
One chance a touch
You'll see the blood that flows
So I propose
Your hands stay closed
And just admire my rose
