I grew a rose
The reddest rose
Of any rose that grows
The sweetest scent
Magnificent
Resplendence for the nose
Irrefutable
How beautiful
None would dare oppose
So delicate
And elegant
I wonder if it knows
But it adorns
The sharpest thorns
For those who would impose
A little prick
Will do the trick
To leave it in repose
For in as much
One chance a touch
You'll see the blood that flows
So I propose
Your hands stay closed
And just admire my rose
