Cookie
Warm, golden
Gazing, longing, tempting
Diet, restrained, guilt, resignation
Biting, chewing, swallowing
Moist, delicious

No crossed legs
No crossed arms
No crossed eyes
No closed circuits
Why?
Poor circulation
Limited creation
From crossed parts
Let there be resignation
Resignation
forbearance today
as elder minds bathe at noon
eyes are passive while
hands fold in acceptance of
a quiet resignation

Trees
Are bare
With sky holes
A solemn gray
Like Whistler’s Mother calm resignation
Leaves
Flutter
In the wind
Drop one by one
We find the autumn smoke from field and hearth
Stoicism defines
Accepting situations
Presented by teacher
Known as experiences
Result of life aftermath

You win. I withdraw.
I acknowledge your terms.
Embrace my weak flesh.
Love me that I may admit
Defeat. Make your will be done.

for the contest Resignation.
The earth now dry and cracked, like shattered glass upon the floor
Clouds hover over the mountains, refusing to cross the plain
Earth begs, then in resignation turns to dust and blows away
Accepting Godsend afflictions with resignation is fortitude
But
Tolerating Man-made suffering without a fight is cowardice!

In the game,
to the winner,
the victory,
to the loser
the defeat... !
At the finale of life,
the same prize
and reward:
The mortuary coffin,
means of transport
to eternal life...!
pond geese are leaving
for places I long to go….
warm breath on cold hands

An Olympics Committee official said
"Women talk too much in meetings"
His resignation is being loudly demanded
Were a woman to say the same about men
~ She might even be reprimanded
Culture Prison
freedom
we all seek..
searching for that
which will make us
free..
when not discovered
resignation reigns
and quiet desperation
begins new searching
until an Abruptness
in a moment
sets us free...
When in-ept come's to reason
And stillness run threw my mind
I then resonate...
----
Leaving me spellbound
Non the less
So lost and empty
----
I soon ask myselt
The reason why
And rightfully so!

I deleted your number from my phone
I wish I could say it broke my heart
With a sigh of resignation
the buttons were pressed
and you were gone.
What a weight off my sad heart
to know I couldn't call,
What a stone to carry
to know I wanted it all.
FEBRUARY
Fiercely independent these
Eclectic February days.
Bravado, masked in the madness of
Revelry’s raucous, windy,
Ululations bowing the
Aspens in prayerful
Resignation to the simmering
Yearnings of Spring.

Velvet toned
Air...silken wonder
She played
upon a stone throne
Jeweled by sea and sun
frolicking from one foot to the other
Thier hands always touching
a sacred reverence
Little was known
of later's
dark resignation
in those days of white
Blood Deep
a placidity of pain
softens lines in resignation
layers her beauty
like actors makeup
sadness dusted like powder
to finish her night face
during the day
living removes all
but those stains
too deep in her blood
held holy close
her smile never reaches her eyes.
The Disaster.
When you play the helpless victim,
making me out to be a whore.
I'll move out of the equation,
Your fantasy villain, no more!
When I feel like a worthless slave,
that disappointed his master
Please accept my resignation,
Yours’s Faithfully,
The GrandMaster.
With the beggar in the street not a word was said
with the child at the grave not a word uttered
when injustice never championed
Hear me humanity read my words
this is my formal resignation
Your rules are not mine to follow
for this life life that i have lived
has left me all but hollow
As early frost kissed window glass
And autumn shed her scant remains,
Her glory done, her time now past
Bare trees lined the country lanes,
The woods were quiet, nothing stirred
Filled it seemed with expectation,
The shrill echo of a bird
Lamented autumn's resignation.
She gathers roses
with the grace of one
who challenged grief and won.
In waning light, with lanterns lit,
she settles to her solitude,
as the darkening warm evening
wraps her tight, and leaves
her to her dreams,
dreams of love and faith
that will sustain her now he's gone,
but not forgotten.
SUSPENDED
immaculate
suspended
I move the
shattering
black in me
disturbing
the grey
that runs
through pink
unsung lungs
bursting with
interior
resignation
insane
so step

Not one pursuit but led to disappointment
The system was designed to fail
Corrupted judge has tendered resignation
The horror lurked behind the veil
Another's cruelty fueled his vindication
The true believer's cause for pain
Described to him in full blown cosmic detail
The dronings of a world insane

A conversation ensued between us.
He ranted he wanted to resign.I chuckled and smiled.
Asked if he had a plan B.
He explained, a good idea though, I thought to myself.
But can you draft the idea, develop it, till morrow then present your resignation when you have alternatives? I asked.
He was enraged, and he left
