Resentment (For Children)

Once two bananas

Have baked pies,

Have melded compotes and kissels, (fruit juices)

But they have not invited me!!!

Cindering Thoughts

Soul charring resentment
Flaming fault at the core of my being
Pulsating regret the burning reminder
Of my self-chosen fate

Premium Member Habitual Resentment

Ever present, sometimes languished,
Almost gone, then reestablished.
This is why, defences high!
To your offer, no reply...

Two Worlds Colliding

fired for being late
smoldering resentment
flips a cigarette

   ***

Yellowstone in flames
twenty years in prison
trees answer back

Premium Member Bottom Feeder of My Heart

Resentment,
rising into a spore,
of keep-forever
bitterness,

bars peace of
yesterday, today
tomorrow.

Demeanor

Frost is a fashionable folkway
Rather resented by Reason.
Offish, often obtuse
Snippy, snooty, sometimes sour
Terse, temperamental

The Danger's of Love

Many dangers of love
The resentment
Watch for a broken heart
Love can trap you
Travel far just to meet
Get you in debt
Gambling just for a chance

When the Devil shows his hospitality
And tempts you with your own resentment
Do you flee, fight or freeze,
Or simply laugh and offer your hand
In gratitude.

The Fall

Desire drips from your mouth, and dark shadows of distrust, resentment.
My heart screams a fiery orange flame
As weakness becomes me,
Passion drives me, and I plummet once more.

Deliverance

Delivered from my anger
Bitterness and resentment
Driven far away
This once troubled mind
Calm and peaceful today.

Painted Backdrop

resentment
stained the
painted
backdrop
with a
negative
vibes
that
spread
like wild
fire through
out the cast
leaving a
dark cloud
of sadness
lingering
over head

The worst curse
of being human
is thinking too much.

Doubt is born,
then resentment,
then your own hatred.

Regretfully,
I’ve created
what I never wanted:
a pain of the soul.

My Disliking Has Grown

My passion is burning with hate.
I dislike the environment I am in.
Perhaps it is the surrounding.
It may be the results of my past sins.
I show a strong resentment with dis-taste

Lukewarm

Lukewarm emotionless
Unsympathetic reception
To requests made by my
Heart to yours
Hardened reaction
Blinded by past hurts
Deaf to my Cry's
Unbending resentment
Has overthrow love
Form: Lyric

Emotional Toxins

injection of
emotional toxins
poisoning the heart
with disdain
creating unrealistic
impressions from a
negative standpoint
causing the world to
be seen through eyes
of resentment

REGRET

Resentment
Exacting its toll
Gouging the senses
Reexamining the
Endless agony of
Tomorrow’s yesterdays.

His Resentment

#Resentment

long before she fought to be love by him,
She waited for me.
long before she decides to change her faith,
she prays with me.
long before she was called to become his,
she was mine.

Let Guard Down

please let your
guard down
let it melt
away like ice
on a summers
day
till there
is nothing but
love left standing
in the place
of resentment
like before
bitterness
overtook
the heart

Brought About the End

in actions brought about actions
actions brought about negativity
negativity brought about distance
distance brought about resentment
resentment brought about estrangement
estrangement brought about the end

Sticks

Sticks made up of
only bitterness and
resentment felt about

great skill, fast movement, and,
of course,
balance.

The Orphan Smiles

See the Orphan smile!
A storm that teaches peace blooms
on black forgiveness.
A child's shoe lies interred
With cold, steely resentment.

Collateral Damage

Her smile masks sorrow
His anger and resentment fester just below the surface
These children are collateral damage
Tears stain their pillows
Tiny voices ask why
I don't have an answer
So I just whisper-hurry and say goodbye
