2

The worst curse
of being human
is thinking too much.

Doubt is born,
then resentment,
then your own hatred.

Regretfully,
I’ve created
what I never wanted:
a pain of the soul.

Stranger

Sitting home alone
Trapped in thoughts of you.
Resigned to being a bystander.
Awaiting news of how you do.
No matter what lies in store.
Given time and perseverance too.
Everything is possible.
Regretfully that just ain't true.

The Prick

It Bothers me To the extent of Causing my breath to quicken itself And having, in my body, loud exploding stars Regretfully, I wish it was a boon from the skies Yet, the deep voice of my soul sings Of sin's Power!

Regarding Our Demise

Regarding our complete demise,
'twas there to see before your eyes
it should not be a real surprise
unless you did believe our lies

Regretfully, and now sincere
for many years, what many knew
before we two has now come clear
and so to you, we bid adieu

What I Should Have Said

''You don't deserve to look at my reflection,'' is what she last said to me,
when she realized I wouldn't give her any more money.
How I should have responded occurred later to me,
''Vampires don't reflect, so no worries honey,'
instead I just didn't respond at all, regretfully.'

God's Regret

One day
in the future
I’m sure
God will constantly say
to Himself
regretfully:
I
wish
I
had taken
Gabriel’s advice
not to create man on earth.
If only I had not made him by hand of my own!
I
am
so
sorry…
That will not certainly happen again.
I
promise
really
I
swear!

Trees In Winter

Naked against the winter sky
their autumn finery lies moldering
beneath the season's first snow.
Where now the innocence of youth
and the boldness of summer?
How fleeting do your days appear,
too soon they are consumed.
Regretfully I marked your passage
while looking forward toward tomorrow.

Choices

I had a friend, I laughed and fled
I had a dream, I fought with reality
I had a home, I ran away
I had an idea, I filed it away
I had a love, He cheated and lied
I saw a light, I sat in the dark
I was in a crowd, I sat alone
I looked into the mirror and cried,
"You're all I need!"
I turned away...Regretfully

Miles

many miles traveled
many miles to go
lost without direction
no beaten path to follow
wondering aimlessly through memories
where does this journey start and when does it end
what once was full of love and joy is nothing but an empty space
can this void be filled again who's to say who's to know
stubbornness will regretfully be the demise

Regretfully

Words have powers beyond control
and conception
The naïve, may have talent,
But fail to recognize
The anguish of the words
The tragedy that befalls others.

Without thought, the words went on,
I went on
Selfishly, though unknowingly,
I scarred others.
I wounded the souls, their beings.
I know now.

I regretfully apologize,
I am sorry.

To Geesandra

God knows the words that follow
Embody the feelings within,
Especially those unspoken and unuttered.
Sandra love, I curse the day my eyes
Allowed themselves to take in your beauty
Not knowing it was only a torturous facade
Drawing me closer into an oblivion of no return
Regretfully, I am burdened with loving an
Angel with no hope of a positive response.

Bowels Fowl

The corn flakes flew acRoss the room,
The raisins hung in air,
Eruption sticky as the glue,
Vibrating rectum fair,
He slung a towel about his waist,
He needed a a flaming shower,
But then the bowel in recital haste,
Did paint the walls a shower,
No need 2 sit upon the throne,
He quietly closed the door,
And whistling a regretfully tune,
Sultana .brand he swore

May 18th

On this day in the year of 2017,
a very great and inspirational man was lost to many.
I regretfully never met the man,
but he has helped me in ways that no one can possibly imagine,
including, but not limited to, my life long struggle with depression.
If I had only one wish, it would be to personally thank him.
Rest Peacefully My Friend.

Muse

Infinitely I long for
Someone to write a song for.
Dismally I claim to be
Content with being lonely.
Pitifully I fake my glee
While my sorrow wallows slyly.
Regretfully the truth is:
I think I have lost my bliss.
But how, I pray, does one retrieve,
Thoughts they now cannot believe?
How can I regain my joy,
If my heart is not employed?
How can I avoid the noose
If I've lost my only muse?

Medicinal Exchange

The doctor said at first,
“Mrs. Ingram, I regretfully say,
Your husband has left, he has gone away”

With a tear she said in reply,
“How could this have happened,
He came in with Pink Eye?”

The doctor replied,
“oh, sorry to confuse, I need to say more,
I prescribed some drugs and he ran out the back door.”

The woman then smiled and turned with glee,
“He won’t get very far, I have the car key!”

Regretfully Forgotten

What's happened to the moment
   always looking to the next,
While time keeps passing by us
   for reasons we forget.

Then twenty years are gone
   before we are upset,
To have missed so many moments
   for reasons we regret.

And with, moments now a lifetime
each next one we pray not,
To have missed for no good reason
   we regret or have forgot.

Embracing Earth

Earth is spread before me each day,
Magnificent in every way.
By all the laws of God and man,
Rare beauty greets in a wide span.
As I arise to view it all,
Captivated in spring to fall,
It never ceases to amaze
Nor can I turn away my gaze.
Glory beyond my window sill.

Expectantly, I raise the blind
And sometimes rays of sunshine find.
Regretfully, I've over slept
To miss appointment God has kept,
His promise of a daily thrill.

The Unpredictable

It happened all,
So suddenly.
Without even,
Warning me.
An epic fall.

I don't say it,
Much regretfully.
But I can't drink,
All this coffee.
It's too much.

I just can't,
Get over,
The fact,
That I,
Got over you.

It's just so,
Unbelievable.
It was so ,
Unpredictable.
Too impossible.

But impossible,
It self says,
I'm possible!
Ain't it in,
A strange way?

But I can't,
Get over,
The fact,
That I,
Got over you.

Symmetry

Celestial thoughts possess my reality
And my knowing is lost.
Hours pursue and I do not contest.

Debates on possession, regretfully
Inform, numbness is expected
If the hours pursue,
Celestial thoughts will be required.

Symmetry obeys my minds rule,
Naive remarks, from an ancient soul.
Knowing is key, to the possession of dreams.

Heavy features do not expect for
Reality gives no benevolence,
To naive remarks spoken,
Symmetry of the mind,
Shall not be woken.
